Mystery P.I.™ - The Lottery Ticket

Another 'just fine' game in the Mystery PI hidden object game series. As usual there are many hidden object to find over 20 levels, split by occasional puzzle solving. There's nothing special and nothing bad. It works fine (no widescreen tho) If you sometimes need to just find hidden objects and chill a bit, this will do just fine.

The Father of Hidden Object Games from Spintop Games. I don't think there's any other hidden object games before this to my memory, but I do remember this one being prominent back in circa 2007. I love the Mystery P.I Series and I'm very surprised the other Titles from this series are not included on Steam, which are: "The Curious Case Of Counterfeit Cove, The London Caper & Stolen In San Francisco" Great Game, very raw and to the point. Happy memories playing this with my Mother before she passed away in 2014. ♥ The series includes the following PC titles: -The Lottery Ticket (2007): The first game in the series, it follows the case of a missing $400 million lottery ticket. -The Vegas Heist (2008): Players must find $4 billion in stolen cash from a new casino before its grand opening. -The New York Fortune (2009): The player is hired to find the missing will of a deceased billionaire. -Lost in Los Angeles (2009): The mission is to find a stolen blockbuster movie. -The London Caper (2010): The investigation takes the player to London to find the Royal Crown Jewels. -Stolen in San Francisco (2010): Players must track down $250 million in stolen gold. -The Curious Case of Counterfeit Cove (2011): The final entry challenges players to stop a group of counterfeiters.

This is one of the bangers from my childhood. In conjunction with Bejeweled 2 Deluxe, you've got 2 games I played on family members laptops when I was a kid. This HOG (hidden objects game; for those who don't know) is one of the earlier ones. You will be going from location to location finding objects that the sidebar says to look for. There are also keys, which can be found to unlock the ENDLESS mode. Now, this game isn't without its challenge. Some objects may not be entirely obvious, as towards the endgame I was struggling to find at least 3 objects while on the clock. Thank goodness I managed to find those (I may have used hints, please don't judge) because some were not extremely obvious. Regardless, those seeking an older HOG from Popcap won't be disappointed!

Первая часть серии, классический поиск предметов в пределах одного экрана. Не знал, что PopCap пробовала себя в таком жанре. В детстве я любил такие штуки )

It's really great to see where it all started, but there is not much to it besides nostalgia.

Well it's an old hidden object game, the quality are so bad you might have to squint your eye looking for something. The reptitiveness is also crazy, can't believe i spent 7 hours trying to finish this. Can't wait to finish the remaining P.I Mystery series though.
