Still holds up great! One of the best RTS of all time. What a gem.
STILL love this game after soo many years. way better than the newer version
an Old timer :)
The Thrill of Combat! The Power of Command! The best of Close Combat. When Microsoft was a Production Partner and possesses the best UI/UX experience thru Close Combat 5. I can't play the other games because I don't like the UI/UX.
An absolute classic. As brutally hard as it ever was.
Great tactical classic!
Bought this when it first came out. Still the best title in the series. Although I admit not playing the new version. This is so well done with a realism beyond most games like it.
I've loved this game since it came out in the 90s. Its one of the first games i played on pc.
The original Close Combat: A Bridge Too Far was brilliant, one of the best games I've ever played. It was a great combination of army-level strategy and company-level tactics, complete with factors such as logistics and how winning a battle in one sector affects your position in another sector. This game is essentially that same game. Unfortunately, that also means the graphics and controls haven't been updated. This results in a game that feels very clumsy. It's still playable, and a great reminder of how great the game was, but not something I'll be playing much of in the future. The graphics are a test of patience.
