Clash of Puppets

Clash of Puppets é um jogo hack’n’slash de plataforma muito divertido feito pela desenvolvedora Drakkar Dev. Neste jogo o jogador vai passar por 3 mundos (bem diferentes) e enfrentar diversos personagens inspirados (e muito) em B-movies. O Design das fases é muito legal e os 3 mundos são bem diferentes, os personagens são bem variados e diferentes. O som do jogo é ok e o jogador que gosta de conquistas vai gostar do jogo, já que são 60 conquistas para pegar. Clash of Puppets não conta com um enredo complexo, basicamente o protagonista está assistindo a uma maratona de filmes B e acaba pegando no sono, assim entrando em um pesadelo e ai começando a jogatina. O jogo tem suporte a controles (Usei o controle do meu PS4 e tudo funcionou perfeitamente). O jogo tem uma boa duração e uma boa dificuldade (o último chefe é complicado). Diria que o único problema de Clash of Puppets é a repetição durante toda a jogatina e principalmente o boss que é o mesmo nos 3 mundos, bem decepcionante. O jogo é leve e deve funcionar em qualquer PC. Eu recomendo Clash of Puppets, principalmente em uma promoção.

No save/checkpoint system within a level. If being forced to repeat the same series of boring jumping/dodge puzzles time and time again only to reach a battle and get endlessly stunlocked by two vampires while Frankenstein pummels on your helpless puppet is your thing, then by all means give this a go. I didn't care for it.

Tags: 3PP - Third Person Platformer Additional Tags: Delete Local Content & Remove from Library TLDR: Recycles assets. Too clunky for children and too shallow for adults. Sokoban and leverpulling elements are unengaging. Combat is streamlined to a fault. Xbox360 pad detected out of box. Offering real PC monitor resolutions. Art style is interesting but not enough assets overall. Map design is linear and uninspired. Not much in the way of crafting a world, setting a lore, or even implementing any dialogue. Action and platforming fight for the spotlight but neither is done brilliantly, and in the case of platforming, suffers greatly due to broken controls. The fixed over the shoulder camera mostly works but is again a symptom of limited design. Gives a confused impression. On the one hand you have simplified arkham style combat and simple sokoban and lever manipulation for progression. The game recycles a lot of assets but is cute and vaguely distracting. You'd think its aimed at children. However you get no checkpoints whatsoever, implying somewhat of a roguelike tradition which does not fit here. The platforming starts intensifying and double jumping becomes required, at first it is just taxing your health, but then you get pitfalls with sliding rocks and missing a platform can trap you under the rock killing you deep into the level. Many times over. Simply because the game does not register the input for the double jump... it is so finnicky and clunky. The ranged combat feels woefully inadequate as foes tank too much damage and the ammo is limited. Melee autostuns however which gives a respite.
