It's a nice game if you want to manage a city without stressing out
I eat city builders for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I have dreams about City Skylines and Anno. And this game? It's nice! Very chill, not to stressful, good management system and satisfying to watch it grow. Like a garden, not like a fungus.
Too much pop ups. Too much unnecessary dialogues. It is not for me.
There's several negative posts about this game in regards to it being too easy or like a mobile app. After completing the Demo and then the campaign on medium, I found myself still wanting to play City Tales and started a hard campaign that same day. I enjoy City Tales so much BECAUSE it is like an idle / mobile app. I am not a huge video gamer, but so far I have throughly enjoyed Frost Punk, The War of Mine, Farm Manager 2021 and Anno 1800. I can't play games in first person or second person view, so generally I gravitate to city buiders due to their top down view. I completed Frostpunk and This War of Mine on my 3rd run of each. I am still working through Anno 1800 and Farm Manager, where I had to re-start both camapigns due to poor build decisions on my part. City Tales - Sometimes you just want a cutesie City Builder that you are guranteed to succeed, but it just may take longer if you haven't set your city up well. I played the City Tales campaign in about 12 hours, but it will be faster if you know what resources are more in demand and build duplicate buildings early, and much slower if you aren't familiar with city builders. A pretty, chill, resource conversion city builder if you don't want the stress (or perhaps interaction) in Anno 1800; where you can always recover even if you make some poor decisions in your city build. The biggest flaw of the game is that the "fast speed" is way too slow, which has been commented on several times.
buggy. frequently get stuck in a loop on quests with no explanation on how to get out.
This game will keep you playing for hours. What I want to see though is on the recent update the Villager View, is it possible to make it 3rd person rather than 1st person view? Thanks!
Très très bonne surprise, prise en main intuitive avec un didacticiel bien amené dans le récit, vraiment beau et plaisant à jouer. Je recommande pour les amateur de "City-Builder", novices comme expérimentés.
Look this game is great its really fun to play and watch all your little people do what they do, its very relaxing and hard to lose. There isnt a 'ton' of things to do HOWEVER its worth the price and if you enjoy just replaying games to do things differently this is def for you
