You can be a single person snipping to running the whole campaign. One of the best core games ever made.
I just came here to say I played BattleZone 1980 on PC with CGA 3 colour graphics back in the day, and it was the best and one of the first in the world first person shooter games out there. BattleZone Combat Commander carries on that legacy and does a pretty good job. Sure, it lacks that triple A polish that big studios have, but its fun for what it is. Nice story, nice graphics, nice gameplay too. Worth a go!
One of my childhood favorites, but this time i managed to beat it, since i didn't understand english at the time, just played casually...this game was one of the reasons i understand it now... Unique RTS/FPS Hybrid, if your young give it a try...just know that getting all achievements is brutal... Buy it, 10/10 Obviously runs great on modern systems...
BZCC is a pretty good PvP game part of a series i grew up on and enjoyed through my childhood. a great mix of FPS/RTS not seen in modern games but sadly it has died off. a lost gem
The coolest FPS and Strategy game flow-combos in one gritty but clean futuristic place! Amazing how this game was so far ahead of the pack by a few decades. The efficient key interface for commanding units while dog fighting is epic. Glad I got some steam in this holiday off time!!!
Lots of fun both SP and MP. The one flaw is on MP when the Alien side gets a particular weapon, late in the build, the game will be over in ten or 20 minutes. There is no way to defend it from destroying your base, which is really frustrating when you've been playing for three hours. Not as big of a problem on SP because the AI doers not function quite well enough. Still, this Classic is always a hoot to play.
super Spiel, über Jahre Spielbar
Left and right is one speed up and down is another much speed. What the heck?!
This is literally one of my favorite games of all times. It will be one of the most unique and challenging games you will ever play!
Gameplay wise the game is fine, but the campaign missions are not well put together. What I've repeatedly ran into is the missions breaking on me because of something stupid. for example: Mission 6: You're suppose to keep your units back for a few attack waves before taking them to a location to destroy a building. If one of your units dies, the mission doesn't continue to the next phase and you're forced to restart. It fails you if you lose a builder unit you get later, but not for losing one of your combat units too early, which makes no sense. Mission 8: You're suppose to sneak from point A to point B without dying. Later in the mission, 3 units are meant to chase you the last stretch to point B where they are killed by allies. This last part was done horribly. If you're too slow, you get killed and (for some reason) start back at the beginning. But if you're too fast like me, the enemies wont chase you, and the mission freezes until they are killed. I ended up getting to the end, like I was told to do BY THE GAME, but had to restart several times because I beat the mission the wrong way.
