About
Defy the Gods of the Pantheon or follow their will. Become the master of oh so many lives and destiny of so few in this twist to the genre face to face with the old deities.
Build your settlement. Gather and refine resources from forests and quarries, breed animals, grow vegetables, fish and make wine, so you can keep your population healthy and fed. Improve your buildings and ensure water supply with aqueducts. Welcome citizens to your village as artisans, farmers, carpenters... or train them to join your legions in different units. Towers and walls will protect your village from barbarian attacks, while it grows into a magnificent city.
Expand. Explore the world map, free villages under siege and experience the power of the most advanced armies of the era: the legion, engaging in tactical auto-battle combat. Once the territory is secured, you can set trade routes, import exotic resources and scale up your economy. Send out your explorers to find a collection of mythological objects that will help you in your expansion and complete missions for the Senate.
Honour. Rise to the pantheon and gain the favor of the gods. Build temples, make offerings so they will grant you gifts. But beware, because gods behave in a capricious and ruthless manner; worship one of them and you may suffer the wrath of another. Interaction with deities allows a non linear, replayable narrative, full of mythical encounters. Prepare to be amazed when they come down to earth and help you, or tremble with fear if they punish your people.
City Building, evolved. Citadelum presents a unique three layered gameplay, based in city building core mechanics, strategic expansion and commerce, and the role of the gods. You will find different missions, artifacts and challenges in every playthrough.

Another one just checking my time played.
It's a cozy city builder game reminiscent of Caesar 3 with a sprinkle of Zeus:Master of Olympus
Standard city management/layout sim game but I feel it needs more events to push the game forward. at least a better tutorial so I do not end up stuck and going online. did not finish first mission, got stuck on marble. 4/10 do not reccommend.
It's a fun city builder styled in the old Caesar series. I generally don't play any city builders, so I can't compare to anything recent, but I am thoroughly enjoying my playthrough. The missions are excellent tutorials. They start small with small goals, and slowly build on what you learned on the previous missions until you're managing a full city with farms, mines, clay pits, temples for appeasing the gods, a circus maximus, and all the fun stuff of Roman times. I found the UI to be great. While I would've liked to have a larger area for resource shortcuts at the top, everything else seems well done at displaying information. You can easily see how much of each resource you're producing, how much is being used by your city, and how much is being imported/exported. This allows you to run a streamlined city without over- or underproducing. The tooltips are helpful, and the overlays are great at highlighting trouble areas. There is an overland map that you can discover, as well. And I found this part to be less engaging (and even distracting) from the city building. It also seems like there is a benefit to not discovering the outlying areas at first, as each enemy army discovered increases the chance that you'll be raided. The battles themselves are lackluster, which is fine from a game centered on city building. But thankfully they included the ability to auto-resolve the battles if you wish. Those things only slightly detract from what is an enjoyable city builder.
Відчув юнацький вайб 20-річної давності та благословіння сітібілдерської терапії. Свої 257грн за знижкою ця гра точно відпрацьовує.
Simple game with decent visuals and decent gameplay. I personally was not a fan of the gods mechanic and disabled it straight away. It will scratch the itch for the city-builder genre, but I would not pay full price for it. Get it on sale if it's cheap enough, but there are definitely better titles out there.
The idea of decorative items having different tiers that can influence desirability differently is truly novel Was waiting for that since Pharaoh games, maybe i missed the implementation in some other game earlier but still Its vrvr enjoyable so far
Excelente juego de gestión, interesante la tematica romana, muy logrado y divertido.
Répétitif et ni élégant ni intéressant
