Why people stopped making normal games? Instead, everyone makes one randomly generated unbeatable level. You dying at first minute over and over and upgrade in post-mortal limbo. You doing it until you grow up the fattest available gun and finally beat it. The same damn level. Honestly, I get bored in 25 minutes of retrys. I vote down until you, the devs, upgrading your devness in the limbo, finally make this game good less repetative and beat my vote, turning it to thumbs up. Srsly, I set up the guns, speed it up, go to make some coffee. Restart, rebuild, speed up, go get a cookie. This is not a gameplay! Yes, the further it goes, the better it gets. But can I skip it? Update: Devs upgraged enough. So, with all respect I change the vote to UP. And maybe I'll rewrite the review later, when play it more.
I just played this game for 9 hours straight. It is a fun tower defense space game. As you play it it becomes clear it's a work in progress. It's just one big level and the story is when you get blown up you retain the earned knowledge of your level or something and you can use resource points to level up your weapons. That's cool, I think it took me about an hour to discover the research page cause I just kept restarting. The good: It's got the right mix for tower defense: simple but varied. The level has random asteroid placement so it has a replay factor its got about the right number of units and you can select them with the 1-9 keys. You can get a couple of different strategies going, there's hints of greatness here but they are limited by issues. I played this game for 9 hours so obviously I liked it actually I'm glad it's not a perfect game cause I would play it a very unhealthy amount of time. The cons: The worst thing about the game is the planes, it has these aircraft carriers and you can que up their building, but you have to click, wait, click again, there's noting fun about it, you should just be able to click 12 times in a row and fill up the que the waiting does not add to the game play at all. There's some things that might be glitches but I think that the developers might have turned them off so the game wasn't too easy. Like your main ship has a big gun, but it does not really use it after the first few minutes. Also that one and the base ships also have turrets on them that you can upgrade, but those turrets rarely fire. It seems like a glitch. Also there's sometimes funky stuff that goes on with the power routing, sometimes you can't put the node where you want to, and there seems to be no good reason for it. It's a little confusing because your main ship has power, and then your base ships also have power, but then it can get broken up, it's not always clear, but it is a cool concept, its the best original gameplay mechanic in this game, it's just not perfectly implemented. Again maybe they made some rules to make it harder cause it seems that if the power routed in a more straightforward way you could just have redundant distribution and the power would never go out. The resource management is kind of a question mark because you have these asteroids and they get depleted and you can only spend / store so much astroid dust at a time. But you don't know if, when your reserves are full, if the dust that is being mined is being wasted or the mining is paused. If you knew that it would inform a strategy either you conserve it or go whole hog straight out of the gate. The wide view seems too close, maybe it's a graphical limit or maybe it made the game too easy to see everything. At least there should be a way to move the screen faster, you can pan with the asdw keys but it is slow, you can also click both mouse buttons and pull it, and that is faster but it's annoying after 5 hours or so, Level Design: In space, there are limits to space... at a certain point on the map you can't build out anymore, it pretty much guarantees that the game will always end up with you turtleing up. If the level could be bigger it would open up more strategies, I had a thing going where I was building a claw shaped trap for those bastards but for it to work I needed more space. It is just one long level, which i think is kind of cool, I guess if it could be longer and the map could be bigger, then that would be cool. Maybe if you could move your main ship very slowly and the bad guys were attracted to it you could set some traps. Maybe there could be patches on the map where things moved faster and/or slower, or some large obsticles that would enable more choices you your part. The turrets have different weapons on them the missile tower works nicely in both settings the other ones seem ok. It's a bit annoying to click and swap each one individually. I can imagine it being really satisfying to quickly switch weapon modes and destroy a big baddie, but it's not there yet for me. All the units have the ability to switch weapons, but they also have a pretty limited range, it's a work in progress clearly. Overall: Its a fun game I thank the developers for making it, I would give it three stars now and 4 stars if they fix that damned plane que thing. I look forward to future versions of the game or the sequel.

great little TD game, worth it
I don't normally do reviews on steam but for this one. I will. I love the foundation of this game. Its fresh. It works well. I know this game is not done but it deserves some hype. There are a few things that need changing but this is more of an early access type game. Its fun and addictive.
Chronostation je hezká hra, ale je krátká a působí trochu prázdně. Osobně jsem si užil každou minutu, ale nemyslím si, že se ke hře budu vracet.
