Aika keskinkertainen indie metroidvania, grafiikat ihan kivan klassiset. Muuten ei tee oikein mitään normista poikkeavaa ja on vain hatunnosto genren klassikoille. Tämmösiä ennen vanhaan ostettiin alelaarin pohjalta.

If you’re into Castlevania-style metroidvania games, Chronicles of the Wolf is definitely worth playing. The game really captures that classic exploration-focused gameplay with a great atmosphere, fun combat, and rewarding progression. It feels inspired by older Castlevania titles while still doing enough of its own thing to stay interesting. Exploring the world, finding upgrades, and uncovering secrets feels satisfying throughout the game. One of the standout parts of the game is its beautiful pixel art. The environments and character designs look fantastic and really help create the dark gothic atmosphere that fans of the genre will appreciate. The music also fits the game perfectly and adds a lot to the experience. It’s also really interesting to see someone put together such a well-made game in Clickteam Fusion 2.5. That alone makes the project even more impressive. I hope we get more games like this from the developers in the future. Overall, I think this is a really good game and a must-play for people who enjoy metroidvania games, especially fans of Castlevania.

Un très bon Metroidvania à la sauce SOTN (même pour les contrôles...), plus dur mais vraiment gratifiant, on a tout le temps l'impression de progresser (ce qui est un peu la base de ce genre de jeux). Bon par contre je préfère prévenir : il est assez complexe et il faut vraiment prendre le temps de tout lire et analyser sans quoi on peut être très vite perdu (surtout pour avoir la vraie fin)

Game crashes when you open the pause menu on Steam Deck. Gameplay is mediocre besides - clunky movement and extremely bland levels.

It's the closest thing to a modern "Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia" and that's a huge plus. Plays great, sounds great, it feels great. Don't hesitate and give the demo a try. Then buy the game, simple as that.
