As an avid fan of rhythm-based games, I have to say that I absolutely love this title. Chiptune music will always hold a special place in my heart due to the complex melodies and chords creators are able to pull off with the sounds that are produced. Now, I will say that this game isn't without a couple of upsets, however small. I'm going to start this off with the good points. - Most of the music choices are great and really easy on the fingers to play - The scoreboard system is a great addition in case you want to have a little competition with other players. - WORKSHOP SUPPORT! I always loved Guitar Hero 5 (I think it was that one) with it's custom song maker, so it's refreshing to see more like that. - Easy and Intuitive to learn, it all boils down to muscle memory, as most rhythm games do Now there are a couple of bad points that I'd like to touch on as well. - A few of the songs are very harsh on the ears, as well as there are some incredibly difficult parts in some of them. I honestly don't know how those parts made it past testing. They probably just have faster fingers than me. - The combination of the color-changing background and the stars effect really mess with your eyes when you're already trying to focus on the scrolling notes, however these -are- options that can be turned off. Obviously more positive points than negative, I'd give this game a solid 8/10, and I would very highly recommend it to anybody who's a fan of rhythm games in general.

Score – 8/10 (Recommended) Chiptune Champion is a fun rhythm game featuring 40 official chiptune tracks with the ability to download more through the Steam Workshop or create your own using the track editor. There's not really much I can fault about the game except for some missed opportunities in order to expand on what's already a solid game: the potential to customise backgrounds wouldn't have gone amiss nor the release of extra official songs by prominent chiptune artists. https://www.choicestgames.com/2019/02/chiptune-champion-review.html
its really good shockingly
