Chicken Police: Into the HIVE!

This was a very intense game. I am a fan of noir and adventure games though, this might not be the case for everyone. Only small thing that was a bit irritating was, that you could get hints from different actors and the chickens reacted to these hints the same way, just like it was complete news. For example did I interrogated Lupus, which gave me all the details. Afterwards I talked to Mon who told me that Lupus is in the office. Oh boy was sonny surprised, it was total news to him 😁

Що ж, я просто приєднуюся до десятка рецензій тих, хто грав у першу гру і розчарований другою. Вона має дуже великий потенціал, але весь час здається, ніби ти граєш в новелу і твої дії не мають жодного значення. Зводиться все до звичайного «проскіпай всі діалоги поки не залишиться знаків оклику і не трігернеться катсцена». Історія теж дивна, хоча і розкриття подій в Кловіллі цікаве, але все якось притягнуто за вуха, бо багатьох деталей по просту бракує. Тому я цю гру не можу порекомендувати. Можете пограти в півнів перших, вони суперські. Ще спробую оцю супер-таємничу кампанію за Мозеса і Плато пройти, але після “Into the Hive” осад неприємний таки лишився..

Игра могла бы стать достойным продолжением первой части, и это действительно так, но только в первых трёх главах. Затем сюжет развивается сумбурно и порой непонятно, и при этом очень стремительно. Создаётся впечатление, что разработчики хотели поскорее завершить историю. Плюсом можно назвать наличие простых, но разнообразных мини-игр. В остальном новелла мало чем отличается от оригинальной игры.

Чтож, вот и пройдена хорошая игра концовка которой напоминает что в жизни ты никогда не получишь счастливого конца.....

Pros: -Hardboiled detective fiction and "cute anthropomorphic animal town" are the perfect genres to simultaneously parody each other. -It's a suspenseful continuation of the story of the first game. -A certain assistant, previously a minor character, steals the show this time. Cons: -It's more of an interactive movie than a game. There's not much meaningful deduction or decision making, just clicking the next thing to advance the story. Fortunately, the movie was enjoyable. -Some pacing issues: excessive dialog before getting to the exciting part, followed by a rushed ending. -The mystery was a little too predictable. On balance, I think the first game was better, but this is still worth playing if you liked that one.

The sequel improves on the original in almost every way. The minigames are far more polished, the interrogation mechanics make much more sense, and the biggest improvement for me is the addition of a full color mode. My only criticism is that some conversations feel a bit too long

Good game! If you liked the first I'd recommend it. Otherwise, go play the first!

Great story, a bit buggy but very cool

I loved the first game, and this sequel was a fantastic continuation and ending to this storyline. The quality both remained consistent and went up on the technical front, with the assets and animations becoming more stylish and lively and the voice acting maintaining the high quality of its predecessor. The story was very pulpy, just like the first chapter, but I did appreciate the occasional leaning into humor and 4th wall breaks, as well as all the side quests. Very glad they added some stuff for the romance fans too, it even got my old shipping gears spinning after years of rust. My only complain is that occasionally there were some issues with the text having typos, and at one point there was a line that had no audio, but neither of these things was catastrophic. All in all a fantastic game and sequel, the chicken police went out with a bang, just as it should have. 9.5/10 Farewell, Clawville

Un petit jeu d'enquête somme toute sympathique. On entre dans un univers qui est une sorte de mixte entre "Blacksad" et "Sin City". Le scénario est bien rodé et les personnages très attachants. Je conseille aux amateurs d'enquêtes policières.
