Chicken Police: Into the HIVE!

Amazing conclusion (?) to the Chicken Police It's a great game, loved the story, the noir atmosphere and the characters. I hope to play other games by the gentlemen.

When I was looking for a game on my phone that was interesting to play, that's when I came across Chicken Police Paint it Red! Me and my boyfriend love Chickens and as detectives? Couldn't get any better! Huge fan of the first game. I was extremely excited when I came across Into the Hive! Even bought it for him to play, so we could play together. The game was very story driven which I'm not mad about, I prefer a good story with good writing and puzzles. It could have added the shooting aspect and even more puzzles wouldn't have hurt. BUT, I'm devastated with the last few chapters of the game which none it really made sense. I love Sonny and Marty. Absolute favorite characters of all time. Their partnership is wonderful and super fun to see. I love there dialogue and couldn't wait for more! See them have kids or grow old...hang out together with a final conclusion like Grampa Sonny... Which is why I am very sad how this game turned out. [spoiler] I love Marty and Sonny so much, which is why I still enjoyed the game so much despite major plot holes and jumps. However, killing Marty destroyed me... I literally sat at this computer, jaw wide open and wept. This ending could've went in so many directions and this is the best they got? It feels like they were done with the Chicken Police after this ending which is devastating because there is a huge fan base for this! We could've seen Marty have a kid and Grampa Sonny and the whole family live on! What the actual you know what... Some plot holes were left unanswered and the ending did seem rushed. Mick would’ve killed them both, as it was his intention. Why did he leave Sonny alive? Kayla knew they were coming, this ending made no sense as much of the ending was built up to this.. shame Not to mention I wanted to know more her past.. No update on Molly in regards to the secret ending and was forgotten. Sonny would’ve never gotten over Marty’s death. What happened to Frank? I though our whole thing was getting his body back, but we cut him open ourselves and got the ring out, so that was it? I get it was a set up but something just still felt off... No follow up on the Queen’s daughter. No follow up on Sonny’s daughter. Don't remember what happened on Bloody New Year’s Eve and why Marty shot Sonny. I could go on...like that dream/flashback story? WTH was that?? As a super big fan, I did give it a thumbs up but it's still hard for me to accept the ending of this game. I still have a pit in my stomach about Marty's Death and still blown away from it. So sad.. [/spoiler]

I liked the game, the first half. I knew that it would start to falter at some point because this was being made during COVID. So their production was limited. It felt a bit rushed with some of the story elements near the end, but it was "enough" to wrap some things up. There was several things that made me laugh and there is a few minigames that freshened the experience a bit.

とてもおすすめしたいけど、ある1点のせいでおすすめできない。理由は皆さんがネタバレ隠し部分で書かれている通り。 [spoiler] マーティを殺す必要がどこにあった？？？？？？？？　ひどすぎる。レビューも書きたくなかったけどずっと考えていてやっぱりひどいとしか思えないので書きました。 [/spoiler] 前作もプレイしてすごく好きになって、日本語訳もとてもうまくて自然でちょっとしたニュアンスも完璧でキャラ設定と同様に好きだったし今作でもその点は大満足なのですが。 その1点でもうしばらく再プレイできなくなりました。 キャラクターの見かけについては、こういったキャラになっている限りは虫でも害虫でもナメクジでも蜘蛛でも自分は全然OKなので問題ないですが（リアルの害虫は絶対無理ですが）、今回のストーリーのテーマが『HIVE』へ入る、つまり現実世界なら例えば危険な地域もあるスラム街やゲットーへ入る、というものなので別人種・民族の暗喩としての・また『差別される対象』としてのそういったキャラクター造形だと思うので、そこは大丈夫でした。（※実際の差別の歴史のある民族や人種が害虫同様だと言っているのではありません、当たり前です。『差別されていた』という概念としてこういった虫などの造形になっているのだと理解しています） むしろここまで写真を元にデザインしているのは突き抜けてていいと思います。下手に可愛らしくデフォルメしたり無理に可愛く綺麗に取り繕ったデザインにしていないところが好感を持てます。 サニーとマーティのやりとりは今回も最高でした。 マーティの[spoiler] 『ここでタイトルドーン！』のようなメタな[/spoiler]セリフも楽しかったです。大好き。こういうのがチキンポリスのいいところ。 ハードボイルドなのに笑える軽やかさがある。 今まで姿が見れなかったローラあああああああああ！！が登場したのも嬉しかった。 なのに[spoiler] マーティ殺すとかどういうことですか！？！？！？！？！？　DLCや後日譚で何か救いをください。プレイヤーがまんまと騙されていたというDLCが欲しいです。[/spoiler]

有点虎头蛇尾，结局有一种“就这样？”的感觉。不过总体来说还是挺不错的，配音很舒服人物很好

It's a Great Noir Game, the setting, Atmosphere, Character, everythings Compelling and Realistic... just becarefull for Punch in The Guts. Problem is, it's still hanging... i hope ther would be a Sequel, final showdown perhaps, because there's too much character been hanging (Didn't have Final Conclusion). It's need to wrap properly... I Like this game, and shout out to The Dev for making this masterpiece.

Terrific fun and lovely presentation. Plot is quite broad and multi-threaded, but that's not really a problem.

玩过1代的可以玩玩，没玩过的还是别玩了。没多少意思。快要榨干这个IP了。把白鸡哥们写死了又有什么好处？印象深刻？一点也不。只能说你们后续就只写老鸡和蜂鸟娘们的故事了呗。这种低成本视觉小说剧情很重要。
