i am really enjoying what ive played so far took me a sec to get used to the mechanics but very fun would recommend getting it
Exactly what it says; a chess game with an added quirk to attacks. Changes the pace of the game, as long term strategies can fizzle out and evolve on you. Good if you're looking for a "house rules" style of play.
This is an interesting take on chess. I'd say if you like chess and you want to try something different, definitely try this. There's still an advantage to attacking, and stronger pieces do more damage, which keeps some of the original spirit of chess alive. Overall, I recommend this game.

Love chess, great concept.
This is a very interesting take on Chess. You have to be strategic about where and when you attack since the pieces all have HP, and will attack back if you don't kill them. Definitely adds a new wrinkle to a classic strategy game.
Interesting concept to Chess. Will wait for the pretty Red board. Hope to see more challenges to play when your solo playing and have no friends to play with.
GG enjoyable, AI is fun to play against make odd decisions sometimes like early queen very odd but, Its not like the game will give you easy wins though. Further more if I had friends I would play them i have yet to do this. Most likely the game would take on another level of intuitiveness that the AI can not do at this point. I'm looking forward to the hopeful updates to come to enhance the game further. Like your own in game level with points you get for your pieces and in game Achievements. Looking forward to more from this developer.
Chess has always been a game I've deeply loved and 'Chesslike' brings a unique and competitively focused edge to it that keeps drawing me back to my Steam library to play it instead of busting out my dusty chessboard itself. It's obvious the developers had a passion for innovating such an old but popular game and I think these innovations usher in an entirely new age for the game of chess as it continues to evolve. I highly recommend this deeply enriching and strategic take on the game
I've gone many years of REFUSING to play Chess, because, lets face it, I'm a blonde. Me+Strategy=death. However, after persistent nagging from friends and suggesting to play, I broke down. And finally, for once in my life, I could strategize enough to WIN a chess game! Very unique concept and definitely worth a try if you like different planes of Strategy. To the developer: May I suggest putting your spin on a Tri-D Chess platform. Lets get some Strategical planes on a multidimensional platform. Really challenge the chess lovers out there!
