I like chess, Play it alot in real life, But i hate it at the same time, But let's really think about it. Does war know rules? i think not. Does strategy have limits? Absolutely not. Chess limits strategy to movement rules like the pawn can't move only forward in one direction & attack sideways. Chess limits strategy to checkmates were if you can relief the king by killing the threat with another piece it won't be allowed because you have to move the king "Only" even if another piece saves him safely. Chess limits both movement & function in general, Though it's my favorite hobby when i need concentration, But it chains the playstyles to rules.
