GREAT! I had to pay £4 to get this game and now it says that I need to buy a license which is $4.95. I want my money back.
Just play Chess online
You need to register an account to their forums to play online. The problem is that it looks 15 years out dated, and you can't actually register an account. My friend failed to do so too. Try to make an account for Bakno before buying.
I can't recommend this one, even at $5. It's missing too many features that are baisc to the genre of PC chess games. You can't rotate the board, or scroll in & out for example. There's no 'take back' option either, wihich is a real problem given how erratic the controls are. There are also only 4 levels of difficulty, which makes for a steep learning curve. Even the starting level plays fairly ruthless half the time too (it's inconsistant in my experience), which may frustrate rookies. No tutorial options to help newbies learn either. The graphics are very nice, but the choices of boards and pieces are about as limited as you'd expect for a $5 game
Bugged, cant play online without disconnecting every few minutes
This game is a rip off! You get to play 3/4 moves before it just terminates your game & demands more money I didn't realise Steam allowed such cons to be live on the platform, given all the positive game experiences I've had on this system over the years - will be FAR more careful with casual purchases here in future!!!
trash. bool out and get chess ultra for the extra 7 dollars.
This game is a huge rip off. It advertises three levels of computer difficulty and there's not even an option to play the computer. It is strictly multiplayer. You can play a friend on your computer and the board spins around when it's the other persons turn. Or, you can play online. I cannot believe Steam would allow such misleading advertising for their softward. Unbelievable. Don't get this game. It's hot garbage.
Bought the game and now its demanding more money by buying a license. Do not buy!
The grafics are the pits. it freezes up and sometimes doesn't move the piece to the spot you want Not even worth the price
