fun
As a fan of 2D indie titles this game is pretty fun to just pick up and play with solid replayability. It's worth picking up, especially if you pick it up on a Steam Sale. I haven't tried the multiplayer mode, but next time I have a buddy over I'm grabbing another controller and trying it out. Only con's I can think of is while the music is good it's pretty short/looping, it can feel too random at times to where it throws you off in terms of progression, and the controls can be a little clunky at times. It's a hidden gem for sure, and I'm shocked there's not much of a community with how well the art design is. It'll run on anything too, I threw it on a Core2 Duo laptop w/ 4 GB of RAM and Windows 7 just to see what would happen, and sure enough not only did it work but I had a solid framerate with no slowdown, so I promise whatever potato you're rocking will run it if you're reading this on the machine.
Horrible ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ with the worst combination of bad controls and trap layouts with insane focus on flying monsters. I got it for free and I still want a refund.
Great but short game Achievements r very grindy - i haven't gotten them all yet Good sound track, cool character and enemy designs, entertaining game :)

nuh uh
A fun blend of platformer, beat-em-up, rogue-like, and Smash-like. Has a fantastic feature where I can skip the story entirely and just play the game. Most of the time, minigames annoy me. To my surprise, I like all the minigames in this. Hard to explain, but great "game feel" when hitting enemies.
I think this game gets some negative reviews in bad faith, honestly it is a pretty cool game, not an amazing one, but a fun one. I am having fun testing out the characters and trying to engage with the enemies in different ways is cool, i will try it in coop sometime, i think it will be fun, the characters don't feel the same and the enemy lineup is different for every stage, it is an arcade game to have fun sometimes, and not play continuously, i highly recommend to try it if you want, it will be an fun experience, and if you don't want to play by yourself, play with friends, it can be very cool
I didn't enjoy this game much, even if it's got a lot going for itself, starting from the playable cast: each heroine is very distinct both in design and in gameplay. My personal favourites are Alice, with her speed and ability to use a grappling hook to easily reach any flying enemy, and Molly, with her water cannon that allows her to shoot distant enemies and fly upwards, and the animation for pumping new water into the tank is so cute. The idea that good scores bring followers on social networks, with milestones giving tokens to spend for permanent upgrades, is silly but works, and is further used with the bonus stage where players have to let a photographer take good shots of them while fending off rabid fanboys. It's pretty nice to look at, especially the sprite art, while the style of the backgrounds is a bit all over the place. Many enemies have a cutesy look, only to become crazed and ugly. Very good, upbeat music. Unfortunately the controls feel janky and floaty. The game asks many times to contend with flying enemies, even fight them over chasms or traps, when it's really not equipped for that; several moves can be chained but it's stiff to execute and oftentimes the windows for canceling an action for another are small or non-existent, often ending up bumping against enemies only because of an attack animation. Being randomly generated, the stages are very hit and miss and can easily exacerbate those issues. Sometimes enemies that should be destroyed by getting at the borders of the screen, chill there instead, now hard to reach. Once I accepted from a seer to have the following screens harder in exchange for a bonus... except it was the second-to-last screen of that stage, so she gave me the bonus on the following screen! The story starts silly only to get absurdly overdramatic; it's centered on Blue, the first selectable character, but when using another character the apparently omniscient villain knows about her demons, only to not bring that up anymore. It's a tonal whiplash that is more irritating than surprising. To put it short, Chenso Club has potential but the core gameplay would need a lot of refinement. Others may find it still fun enough, especially if played in two.
