Cheese Party

[i]Cheese Party[/i] wirkt auf den ersten Blick vielleicht etwas unpoliert und das UI und das Gameplay haben definitiv ihre Ecken und Kanten. Aber ich hatte schon lange nicht mehr so viel Spaß mit einem Match-3-Spiel. Wer also auch von den immer gleichen Match-3-Spielen der großen Casual-Games-Publisher gelangweilt ist, wird hier vielleicht das Spiel finden, das wieder frischen Wind in die Sache bringt. Zugegeben, Grafik und Story sind nichts Besonderes, haben aber durchaus ihren Charme. Und für alle, die einfach nur spielen wollen, gibt es eine Option, um die Handlung immer automatisch zu überspringen. Das Gameplay an sich ist überraschend schnell. Manchmal plingt und ploingt es nur so vor sich hin, und ehe man sich versieht, sind die ersten Kundenbestellungen schon erledigt, bevor man überhaupt zum nächsten Zug kommt. Jedes Level hat zwar einen Timer, aber meistens war ich schon 2 Minuten vor Ablauf fertig mit der Mindestvorgabe und konnte dann entspannt Bonusbestellungen für den 3. Stern holen. Also alles super casual. Wer sich aber generell von Timern stressen lässt, wird mit [i]Cheese Party[/i] dann wohl doch keinen Spaß haben. Der Schwierigkeitsgrad steigt angenehm und langsam an. Natürlich gibt es vieles, was man schon kennt, z.B. Hindernisse wie Kisten oder Unrat, die zerstört werden müssen. Aber es gibt auch kreative und thematisch passende Herausforderungen, z.B. muss kontaminierter Käse in einer bestimmten Anzahl an Zügen gematcht werden, sonst werden die umliegenden Käsestücke ebenfalls kontaminiert und bringen keine Punkte mehr für die Bestellungen. Auch gibt es zum Schluss Rauch auf den Karten. Das schränkt nicht nur die Sicht ein, sondern man muss auch noch aufpassen, dass der Käse darin nicht zu stark geräuchert wird. Sollte man mal feststecken, kann man sich jederzeit anzeigen lassen, wo es noch ein Match gibt. Außerdem stehen 3 Power-Ups zur Verfügung, die man als Belohnung erhält, wenn man ein Level mit 3 Sternen abschließt. Sehr niedlich sind auch die Mäuse, die auftauchen, wenn man eine Weile nichts tut, und sich dann ein zufälliges Stück Käse schnappen. Wer nach den 12 Kapiteln des Storymodus immer noch nicht genug von Käse hat, kann im Endlosmodus weiter machen. Außerdem gibt es ein paar Match-3-Rätsel im Puzzlemodus und für die Kreativen unter euch einen Level-Editor. [u]Kaufempfehlung[/u]: 4,99€ für die Fülle an Inhalt finde ich top. Wer aber aus diversen Gründen nicht so viel bezahlen möchte, kann [i]Cheese Party[/i] bereits für 2,99€ im Sale ergattern

I opened this game. I matched some cheese. Then I found the furry mode. Now I don’t know what’s real anymore. The cheese moves. The cheese speaks. The cheese wants something. The sticky power-up defies reason. The furry mode defies God. I have seen things no man was meant to see. 10/10, I can never go back.

Absolutely love this game! I've been looking for a match 3 game that was solid and not old enough to graduate college and this delivers! Story mode and general puzzle with design features. More than I was even hoping for honestly. I'd love to see this become stable for steam deck as well so I can play on the go. Thank you for your lovely game!

I LOVE CHEESE!!!!! the art is beautiful, the game is easy to understand AND there's a story?!! oh yeah this is peak.

(The UI was recently updated and I will reflect the changes within my review). Alright, well... If you ever wanted to play Match-3 and with cheese? Now you got it! There are 12 Chapters + 12 levels each, so you'll be busy for a while. Also comes with a "make your own levels" too, and the addition of another mode... For those hardcore players. :p Most things were taken care of during the update, except for this one: When you finish a level, it says "Game Over". For a while I thought I LOST the level. "Game Over" generally means "You Lost. Try again." In every other game I played. So I had to remind myself that I [i]didn't[/i] fail a level, but merely finished it. (When I started up the game again, I once more thought I lost as the "Game Over" message popped up. >.> Lol.) The Power Ups were fixed and make sense now! Thank you! I was able to use them correctly! The Leaderboard scores were improved and the screen no longer gets stuck. Good job. And I still think the story is a bit odd sounding, but you know what? It has it's own strange charm haha. That's it for now. Onto more Match-3! :>

Cheese Party is a refreshing twist on the age old concept of matching three, expanding on concepts from Shariki & Bejeweled. Its fast paced & multi directional with smooth transitions allowing seamless gameplay. I particularly like the 'Endless' mode where hours can disappear.

I really enjoyed this Match 3 Puzzle game! It's fast paced with encouraging non-stop matching and the game has plenty of content and it's own unique art style that I really liked.

The art style is really nice!! It's easy and feels good to play and I am. So fast. 35 minutes and i have finished the first chapter

Super fun and i like cheese it would be good if it had bees 10/10 (:
