It’s a fast-paced 2D fighter from FK Digital, published by Arc System Works, and basically an upgraded version of the original game. You get 16 wildly different characters, each with their own fighting style and a bunch of moves you can mix and match. Whether you’re flying solo or battling friends on the couch, there’s plenty to do — Arcade, Versus, Mission, Survival, Score Attack. It’s got that old-school arcade vibe: super tight controls, wild combos, and gorgeous sprite visuals that feel like a love letter to classic fighters. They even let you pick special skills for each character, so you can tweak your playstyle however you want. What really makes this game stand out is how responsive and deep the combat feels. Timing matters, and pulling off flashy combos always feels satisfying. If you’re into customizing your fighter, you’ll find a lot to love — you can really make each character your own. Modes like Mission and Practice keep things fresh, so you’re not just stuck in endless one-on-one matches. The cast is a wild mix too: ninjas, androids, magical girls — it never feels boring, and the slick animation plus pumped-up soundtrack keep the energy high. Even though the game’s been around for a while, fans still praise it for nailing that classic 2D fighter feel, and there’s enough going on to keep people coming back. But let’s be real — the game isn’t perfect. The graphics and presentation look pretty dated next to newer fighting games. There are some clunky translations and awkward writing that give it a rough-around-the-edges feel. And if you’re hoping to play online, good luck; in a lot of places the online scene is pretty much dead, even if network play exists in some versions. The learning curve’s no joke either. There’s not much in the way of tutorials, so newcomers might find themselves lost or overwhelmed. Plus, this game has always been a bit niche, and with a smaller budget than the heavy hitters, it doesn’t exactly reinvent the genre. For all its charm, a lot of people see it as a solid but not groundbreaking fighter — great for fans, but not a must-play for everyone.

A pretty entertaining 2D Beat em Up. I would not buy it for 20 Bucks though. Wait for a sale.

全実績アンロックできました♪ ( 私事でもうしわけない.. ) 私の２Ｄ格闘ゲーム歴ですが、 ストリートファイター２シリーズ から入って ( ８割以上 負けてます。∴ 負けるのは当たり前の精神 ) SNK 系(少々) ＆ スト３ までの CAPCOM 系 で、以降はあまり遊ばなくなりました ( スト４～ は遊んだことがありません.. ) そのような人間のレビューになります↓↓↓ [h3]特徴[/h3] ・システムはオーソドックス(!?) 　 └ すごく複雑だったり，ユニーク過ぎたり していないと思う (ので、他の格闘ゲームに応用が可能かな!?) 　 └ まぁ、キャラの設定の方にはクセがありますが(笑) ・空中ガードが可能なタイプの格闘ゲーム 　 └ ジャンプしたら、相手と反対方向にレバー(十字キー)を入力しておくクセを付けておこうね ・あまり覚えなくても、楽しい♪ 　 └ 全キャラ、弱攻撃 → 強 → 必殺技 (→ 超必殺技) でコンボ可能。という事さえ覚えておけばＯＫ 　 └ 必殺技のコマンドは、(全てではないが)常に画面に表示されているぞ♪ ・慣れてくれば、他も覚えてスキルＵＰが可能♪ 　 └ 前方回避，ハイジャンプ，ガード崩し 等を覚え、遊びの幅を広げよう♪ 　 └ まぁ、覚えなくても遊べます (私はこの辺はほぼ使わずに遊びました。ヘタなので..) ・極めようと思う人にも、やりごたえあり(!?) 　 └ YouTube で見ると、すっごく難易度の高そうなコンボしていました (私にはムリ..)
