The first Tiny Troopers game is much better. Too bad they had to remove it from Steam only to make people pay for this junk.
Прикольная игра, жаль нельзя расстреливать гражданских, мы всё-таки за американцев играем
Game is really boring to me tbh, it felt like a phone game for little kids. It's also a very dead game, there's like zero public games on the server list. I don't really see this game ever becoming a thing unless they revamp everything about it. At its current state its just not my cup of tea. I do not suggest anyone to get this game. Maybe might be fun running thru main story with a buddy but that's pretty much it.
I had high hopes for this game when it got announced, it was a blast to play when it came but this game hasn't gotten an update. Nothing new hell there were talks of a zombie mode like in spec ops but ig not. Also the online mode is basically dead and is just a mess at times to connect with others. It was a promising game that for sure. The controls are tad bit awkward but once you get it down its alright though i wish there was an option to play by just clicking the mouse like the Microsoft Store releases of Tiny Troopers 1 and 2 which are still up and are free better than having to pay for a 10 dollar half ass port its a port thats for sure but there are some visual glitches and its in a 4:3 aspect ratio which why hell some of the comic cut-scenes don't even fit on the screen so that cool. Anyways point is this game is alright but just a cash grab on a series that had a decent following. Don't bother playing this game its not worth it and neither is the digital deluxe version and if you want to play Joint Ops XL just download the releases of Tiny Troopers 1 and 2 on the Microsoft Store its much better than whatever XL is
I have played every Tiny Troopers and this is far and away the best one, hands down. Huge improvements to absolutely every aspect. Maps are much bigger and more interesting. Objectives have tons more variation. Lots more upgrades. Trooper customization. Lots of enemy variation. Controls are more responsive. Action is faster paced. Couch co-op and online play. The (intentionally) cheesy scenes between missions are a nice addition and occasionally very funny.
I have played all of the Tiny Troopers games and this brand new installment in the series BARELY deserves a positive review, mostly because the game disappointed me big time. PROS - Visually pleasing (a clear graphics upgrade from previous titles, with better models and diverse environments *not only one*); - There are indoor levels and outdoor 'in-motion' levels (with helicopters, boat or train *but you do not control them*); - One or two minor bugs in the entire play-through (flawless performance overall); - Very well structured upgrade system (especially for secondary weapons and special abilities). Neither Pros, nor Cons - Story is represented by 6 chapters, but frankly the story does not immerse the player in any aspect (you can ignore it and skip cut-scenes, it does not matter); - The jokes/comedy is bland at best and the voice acting is cringe (just like the other games *being a matter of taste, I will not consider this a con*). CONS - Primary weapons are boring, especially if they are not fully upgraded; - AI path-finding is terrible and getting stuck in invisible things happens (just like in the other games); - Game is grindy and very repetitive in terms of content; - WHERE ARE THE HUMVEE MISSIONS? WHERE ARE THE MISSIONS IN WHICH YOU NEED TO DESTROY LIVE TANKS? WHERE IS ZOMBIE MODE? So instead of adding new types of content (modes/missions/etc), you decided to cut content that was present in the older titles. Not a great move. Buy when it is at least at 50% off.
Bought this stuff to play with my 6 years old kid. And we both were just bored with clunky controls, so bland and soulless art direction and weird progressions system. Probably it could be great mobile phone game for some kid to kill some time. But there was zero enjoyment in playing this game on gamepads. After the first hour I just should have to refund it, but made a mistake by giving it a chance.
Взял поиграть в коопе с ребёнком, но игра настолько пресная, что даже ребёнку стало скучно. Основное оружие - пистолетики?! Вы серьёзно? Дальше второй миссии не стали играть. Возврат.
Tiny Troopers: Global Ops pros: //fast game with modern day graphics with easy controls that moves from location A to B to C and so on //good amount of action and special effects cons: //some difficult battles //some difficult timer countdown objectives //some upgrades cost a lot of resources //sometimes too many mines //AI ally troops are bad at dodging mines //perma troop death //buffing troops takes a lot of grinding //good game Personal Suggested Purchase Price: $1.49 Or Less During Sale Free Weekend 5-11-2023 to 5-14-2023
I didn't like it. A 6/10. They made the character models cringe looking. They changed the art style from cute and cartoony to modern and ugly. Very heavy to run and stuttery. Now you have to press R2 to shoot instead of just auto shooting in the direction you are facing. The cut-scenes are useless bloat. Very difficult and grindy, even on Easy. Definitely buy Tiny Troopers Joint Ops XL (Tiny troopers 1 & 2 combined) over this. This is just an ugly bloated knock-off.
