Divided since the dawn of time, the Peoples of the Tower no longer speak to each other, isolated by fear or mistrust. It is said that one day, a Traveler will find the wisdom to break down the walls and restore the balance. Travel the endless steps of a prodigious labyrinth, uncover the truth and unveil the mysteries of this fascinating universe where ancient languages are both the lock and the key.

Inspired by the myth of Babel, discover an enigmatic and vast tower. As the Traveler, delve into a world full of mysteries, where Peoples have grown distant, unable to communicate with each other anymore. Begin your adventure in a prodigious tower inhabited by five distinct Peoples, observe, listen, and strive to mend the bonds of distrust.

With a smart gameplay system, explore and solve various puzzles to uncover the mysteries of five different interconnected languages. Always guided by your trusty notebook, note each symbol, keep track of your surroundings, engage in conversations with people and unravel the meaning of every glyph. Each step will pave your way to the top of the Tower as each word will restore the link between People.

Dive into an enthralling and colorful world full of secrets. Tumble headlong into a beautiful world inspired by impactful European comics authors where every floor of the Tower possesses its own visual identity, supported by distinctive technological levels, architecture and culture. Embark on a poetic and enchanting journey driven by a soul-stirring, lyrical soundtrack, made by Thomas Brunet.

awesome
“↑ ↑ ↓ ↓ ← → ← → B A” -Cheat code understood by any language

Chants of Sennaar told me to push a lever and somehow that was an enthralling experience.
Gameplay
On the surface it’s a very simple puzzle game where you just push levers, place items in certain spots, and input codes derived from books or environment, but…
X-Factor
…the main draw of the game lies in its language interpretation mechanic, whereupon hearing or reading new words/symbols you obtain such symbols and can immediately add your own interpretation to them based on the context you’ve heard them or through deduction/induction of the symbol shape relative to other symbols you already know. Each civilization has their own language to understand, each with their own grammatical differences, how they use plural forms, how they build a phrase, how they use interrogatives and negations. One more thing that's quite neat is how the game has huge swaths of color and a very cell shaded look to achieve a certain simplicity, while also uses a crosshatching shader to put some uniform texture back in it that unifies the whole look in the game in a cool way.
Story
You are a lone figure with no understanding of language who climbs this tower and, in the process, learns the people’s way of speaking and hopefully uses this knowledge to mediate between civilizations that can’t understand each other. Story itself is simple, told exclusively through gameplay and environments.
Downsides
Navigation doesn’t feel too good, between the absence of a map, camera angles for each zone at different orientations, and no relation of entry and exit points, makes it confusing to get around, especially since you’ll have to wander through the area multiple times, also there’s no way to speed up the process once you know where to go. At some points you’ll be offered pages with a sketch of some action where the game asks you to complete them with words you’ve been collecting, this is very good to avoid you completely wander off-meaning, despite taking away a bit of whimsy from the game but the 3 to 5 symbol validation means it’s VERY much abusable to get the meaning of something you didn’t figure out yet by just imputing the few remaining combinations of symbols for a free solution.

Good game that focuses on language deciphering in a satisfying way, nothing transformative or that invites very deep discussion but a very neat title nonetheless. It IS just 10-ish hours of content that doesn’t have any replay value so you may want to wait for a discount on the 20-dollar pricetag to get the game despite how good it may be.

Every market we collect.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 800/day in the week to Jul 16 → 40.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 20 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10.5 places towards #1, and the 2,491 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

good puzzle game
A beautiful immersive game, I have replayed it quite a few times now.
It’s an enjoyable puzzle game with a lovely soundtrack. I didn’t like having stealth sections shoved in the gameplay, but they were forgiving enough, not to be tedious. Overall a heartwarming experience.
