i don't cry basically ever these stories caused me to at least twice there's your review, buy it. god bless how well this game handles its scenarios.
This game is outstanding and beautiful and I want the authors to know that, to know that they've done a very good job and produced one of the best games I've ever played. I always enjoyed the concept of transforming into different creatures, species and such. And guess what - it started with wolves and werewolves. I always enjoyed picturing how it'd be to turn into a werewolf for example and interact with the relatives, try to show them that it's still you, live on, adapt - and this game nails every aspect of it. So many diverse scenes that we could even pick from. The writing is smooth and what I feel like the main storyline, the werewolf one and the one I chose for my playthrough is peak writing when it comes to werewolf content. The amazing art, the little details and scenes showing the protagonist's new form or letting us choose to show up as a werewolf to a group of normies and act as if we weren't changed. I love it. The love interest is charming and the story around it too - it just works well, fits our choices and the protagonist. Additionally I really appreciate the "traditional" music and setting of this game, both historical and mythological - it's so quaint and sly. This is a great interactive text game and a top pick for people like me who love transformations and wolves, hah. The authors deserve praise and nothing else than a positive review.
I definitely recommend giving this a try—especially if you’re into romance-driven visual novels with a transformation twist. The characters are distinct, the story is emotionally grounded, and the presentation is exceptional across the board. --Minor Issues-- - Menu navigation can occasionally be a bit tricky. Some UI elements aren’t as intuitive as they could be, and navigating the interface—especially when actively seeking out different story paths or endings—can feel a little cumbersome. A more streamlined scene or choice tracker would really elevate the replay experience. - Some scenes didn’t work or were unfinished during my playthrough. This isn’t entirely the game’s fault—as it’s been made clear these were known issues tied to early versions, and they’ve since been addressed in patches. Still, it’s worth noting for those playing right at launch. --Highlights-- - The romance options are refreshingly diverse. Each love interest feels distinct in both personality and storyline. You're not just romancing a trope—you’re building a real relationship that unfolds with emotional nuance. - Every major scene is drawn with care. The art is consistently gorgeous, and the visual attention to detail during key scenes—especially transformations—is genuinely impressive. - Transformation scenes are a standout. They’re not just visual setpieces—they tie directly into the characters’ arcs and emotional states, adding depth and meaning to the fantasy element. - The narrative is both consistent and emotionally engaging. Whether it's a lighthearted moment or something more serious, the tone is handled with care. It never feels jarring or disconnected, which is impressive given the subject matter. - The soundtrack adds a lot to the atmosphere. The Celtic-inspired score really elevates the emotional beats and gives the setting a strong sense of place. It’s subtle when needed, and moving when it counts. - Strong replay value. The branching storylines and multiple endings for each character offer a lot of replay potential. Choices matter, and each route feels like its own distinct narrative experience. Though there are a few nitpicks here and there, none of them outweigh what Changeling Tale does right. It’s a heartfelt, beautifully crafted visual novel that absolutely deserves your time—especially if you’re interested in transformation, romance, or just well-written character-driven stories.
We got a Bovine Bae, a Lovely Lupine, and a Sweet Sea Monster. Together with a Goth Pterodactyl and a Paraplegic Baryonyx, they shall form the front echelons of anthro waifus in maintaining the HMOFA Agenda.
I only bought this game as a joke because it had shown up somewhere in my recommendations, and I had some leftover cash from my Steam wallet to burn. In my first playthrough I managed to finish the story in like 20 minutes as a bachelor because I picked the choices that I would have myself picked IRL. During gameplay there was this awkward transformation scene that made me uncomfortable, so I just wanted to skip it as soon as possible. But I randomly ended up with a rare achievement because the "guy" went licky licky on her face for some reason. Anyway, it was a bit disappointing to see a 1.2 GB game end so quickly, but I did decide to give it another go after a while. And ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ am I so glad that I did. On my second playthrough I managed to score Jessie's storyline, and boy was I blown away by everything. At first her story appears innocent, but quickly develops into emotional tale and it left me feeling sorry for her because the way the world was treating her. The plot twist also caught me off-guard, but in the end I managed to get the good ending for the two goofers - it remains my favorite storyline so far. The way other two storylines are told is also incredible. During playthrough there were multiple occasions where I thought that I had already reached the end, but storyline just kept going and going. This game makes such a good job capturing moments of life - happy and sad. The lore seems to be based on real world myths. The illustrations were very well made and welcome (thanks for drawing certain things correctly). The occasional quotes from the "storyteller" are words of wisdom. The music is just spectacular and deeply emotional - I swear those piano and violin notes pierce your soul. Honestly, I'd be lying, if I said I didn't shed a tear or two. I can see that a lot of effort and love has been put into this masterpiece. It's one of the finest games of its kind I've ever played. Hats off, thumbs up.
its sexy and also very passionate and you'll feel for the characters. very good I recommend unless your not into furry or furry art. but I personally love it
I tried the Demo, it was a real good story with some surprisingly tasteful nudity thrown in. I then decided an evening when I was bored to buy this. It turned out to be a decision that told me 3 storie, they hit my heart so well that i was like finishing one of the best romantic books I've ever read, but in the form of a Visual Novel. This has to be the best money I've spend on any game or book in over a decade. I am now left with a sad feeling that the story is now over, and an empty void in me missing the warmth of the story while it was being read.. The same signs of a Truly good Book, with a Truly Good Story.
Came for the NSFW but Ill be D@mned if it isnt one of the most beautiful and compelling stories I have played. Completely forgot about the sex lol. Amazing game, the developers should be proud of what they made. 10/10
Story (Transporting) Art (Enchanting) Music (Captivating) If your looking for something unique, and enriching, or are simply any avid fan of the wondrous, and weird down to your core. GET THIS GAME! (The makers dared to take the task of communicating the strange, and did so, with great effort, care, and passion for the craft.)
Grace's story absolutely broke me, I'll be honest. I can't remember a time before now reading something so nice that hurt me so much. It feels silly to be genuinely upset, concerned, and moved by something fictional but here I am. This game, and its stories, won't be for everyone, but they truly mean more to me then I could have anticipated. Give this one a shot, even if you don't think it'll be for you.
