Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.71/day in the week to Sep 14 → 3/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Easy recommend for this one. I played exclusively on steamdeck and it was a great experience. This is a cute indie jrpg-like that has a very interesting story. It has a lot of the old school game mechanics, like running at false walls to find secret areas. It doesn't hold you hand like modern games either when it comes to world transversal which is both a pro and con. It's not perfect but it's really dam close and for what it's going for and easy recommend.

A great love letter to the traditional turn-based RPG. You essentially have two different styles of battles, your traditional party-based fights where everyone has their own separate equipment sets, skills and synergy, and you also have Sky Armor fights further in the game where it boils down to the equipment you pick. Story is REALLY nice, the cast of protagonists are all lovable and pretty diverse, you get a handful of sidequests and quite a few challenges to do on the side (I'd say around 30% of my playtime was just exploring to clear a checklist-style reward board). Bosses, well, they can get a bit tricky and hit quite hard but at least there was an option to nerf or buff them built in to the game, so you can pretty much adjust the level of challenge to your liking All in all, great package and well worth the experience EDIT: 100%ed the game. Enjoyed every single hour I spent on it. Here I come New Game Plus!
Sabe aquela sensação de estar jogando Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy 6 e Xenogears? Não? Então jogue Chained Echos para reviver esse passado brilhante dos JRPGs em um único jogo.
It’s a good game for JRPG fans alike, not for the low attention span gamers and requires the ability to read. Games definitely a hidden gem glad I got to experience this game.
Game sucks. One of the worst combat systems I've played, the overdrive bar is just stupid, forcing you to more often than not just waste a turn. Enemy AI is dumb and will often just spam one spell over and over, and if they spell happens to be a heal, hope you enjoy a random field fight taking 5+ minutes of just endless healing. I told myself I'd try to at least try and finish it, but after 6 hours I'm just bored.
This game gave me goosebumps in places that haven’t been touched since my uncle taught me how to wrestle.
Chained Echoes is clearly made with passion and understanding of classic JRPGs. The combat is fun and tactical, the story is interesting from the beginning, and the game respects your time much more than old-school JRPGs. No random encounters, no heavy grinding, and progression feels meaningful. But after around 5 hours, I slowly lost the motivation to continue. The problem is not the combat or the story themselves. It’s the momentum between them. Maps are large, exploration can feel tiring, and moving from one objective to another slowly killed my excitement to keep going. I was already focusing only on the main story and ignoring completionist content, but the feeling was still there. I can absolutely see why many people love this game. In fact, I still think it is a very well-designed JRPG and worth recommending. It just never became compelling enough for me to fully immerse myself in its world.
Its not a bad game, but the Overdrive mechanic it just something that at somepoint it piss off because it force you to play in a super controlled way... Also, to much text... to much text..
Chained Echoes is a great JRPG with a good story and a strong cast of characters. If, like me, you enjoy long RPGs with turn-based combat, this is probably the game for you. Story and World The story is good and features some nice twists. All the characters have their own unique personalities, and the game gives each of them time to shine. Be aware that the world has its own unique lore, so at the beginning there is a bit of a lore dump. It’s not too much, but it’s there. Still, I liked that even though the entire game takes place on a single continent, I always felt the presence of a much larger world beyond the story. Gameplay / Combat This is a standard party-based, turn-based RPG. Where the game really shines is in its unique mechanics—and there are a lot of them. I was around 30 hours in and the game was still introducing new systems, which I thought was awesome. I won’t explain them here because I don’t want to spoil anything, but I think these mechanics are very well implemented. The game has three different ways to balance difficulty, and all of them can be adjusted at any time through the menu. If you set all three to maximum difficulty, some early battles can feel luck-based. After that, the difficulty becomes much more manageable. Music A fantastic soundtrack with a great variety of tracks. Graphics and Optimization A beautiful 2D art style with great battle animations. Difficulty to 100% Easy.
