Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.71/day in the week to Sep 14 → 3/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Some of my friends didn't like this game, but you shouldn't trust them because they're wrong

C+ — Good tactical ideas could not make me care about the journey Stopped in Act 3, then read the remaining story. I did not complete the playable route. Chained Echoes has plenty of things I normally want from a turn-based RPG: distinct roles, party switching, useful buffs and debuffs, and bosses that require some thought. Overdrive adds another consideration to each turn, and the better encounters make those pieces work together. The relatively low need for grinding also helped keep the focus on how I used the party. The trouble was that my interest did not grow with the game. Skills and equipment provided worthwhile choices, but progression rarely made me excited about what I could build next. Once the combat became familiar, there was not enough change to keep the routine fresh. A strong opening idea needs room to develop over a long adventure, and that development felt limited here. I also struggled to connect with anyone in the cast. No character became a reason to launch the game, and the story's cosmic direction pulled me further away from its more human conflicts. There were twists, but they did not mean much when I was already detached from the people involved. Reading the remaining story did not change my reaction, although that is a different experience from playing through it. The retro presentation was serviceable, and the music had some worthwhile moments. Neither became a lasting highlight for me. Without strong attachment to the characters or soundtrack, the repetitive parts of combat became harder to overlook. Players who mainly want traditional turn-based tactics with limited grinding may enjoy this more. I need either exciting progression or a cast I want to follow to sustain a long RPG. Chained Echoes never gave me enough of either, and I stayed well past the point where I was looking forward to the next session. I have to face the harsh reality and realize that despite JRPGs sounding fun they are just not for me. sometimes I have problems with AAA games going past the 50 hour mark and I shudder at the thought of this being longer with a turn-based combat that gets repetitive fairly early on. I recognize that there are smart and friendly choices like run-away function or stats-reset-after-each-encounter but it's simply not enough to keep my attention. there's the opportunity of the story to carry it but as it is usual with this genre I find the characters too adventurous, looking at the world through rose-colored glasses. in short, a fairy tale aimed at children rather than an epic high-fantasy
-EASY RECOMMEND WITH A MASSIVE CAVEAT- game's level design and progression is excellent and the combat is easily top 3 best turn based systems i've ever seen, but the UX is inexcusably bad. it's fine in the early game, but from the midgame onward you have to manually swap the gear + the individual stat gems on that gear between 10+ different characters-adjusting gem loadouts every time you change a weapon or armor because the number of slots on each piece of gear changes depending on its upgrade level- multiple times per hour of gameplay. You can only upgrade or set gems in gear at designated locations, which adds to the pacebreaking. It genuinely got so bad I just threw my hands up and put the game down, every new piece of gear or party member started to feel like a punishment rather than a reward. I still recommend this game because the positives are so good, but beware the time you are going to have to spend in menus, even more than most JRPGs

As a Suikoden fan, this is the kind of game I've been hoping for for years. Chained Echoes feels like a modern take on everything I loved about Suikoden. 9/10
A great RPG with some good surprises like; - The combat with overdrive system, it encourages you to use all characters and strategies. - The main characters are solid. - Sky Armor Fight. - Music and story in great parts. But, it have some issues; - The conflict in certain point seems to go much faster. - The game have some issues with character development, cause some members or antagonist have some less attention until the game remember that they need a closure. - No spanish support. - The inconsistence of recruit some characters, literally the last members that you can obtain is in the endgame, before the last dungeon.
