Chained Echoes

Overdrive system is stupid. Being hit sets you into overheat constantly and then you have to use skills that don’t help you as much to cool it down. Oh you need to heal after being hit? Too bad, it will cause you to be overheated and take double damage. There are lots of enemies with double attacks as well, causing you to be overheated for most of the battles without choice. Not being able to level up and choose new skills without story checkpoints just makes this boring in between main story events. After 3 hours I was still not able to level up skills. Wish I could refund the game at this point.

We need a Chained Echoes II.... GREAT GAME!

I slept on this after purchase, playing only part way into ACT I. The story didn't hook me and the combat frustrated me. Picking it up again with more time to understand its systems and it's a real gem! The combat was frustrating because I kept taking on optional mobs that were out of my league. By ACT II combat, mobility, systems, and story all accelerate in novel and enjoyable ways. The character and class customization allows you to tailor things to your preferred playstyle and by the end throws enough options at you while still being limited to make things interesting.

Good game for JRPG enthusiast, i love how new mechanics introduced and there is no random encounter so you can enjoy exploring the world. Also the pixel art is beautiful

storyline yang plot twist dengan bumbu komedinya, serta battle mechanic yang fresh, build up karakternya beserta robot gundamnya (sky armor) yang seru. salah satu game pixel turn based yang wajib dimainkan.

So fun so good <3
