Centipede: Recharged

Amazing remake of an arcade classic. Makes for great local co-op. Highly recommend playing it with a mouse, since it allows much faster movement. Also a plus... You don't get pinched by a trackball.

Of the 3 Atari Recharged games I've played, this one's definitely the hardest and I could see myself putting in a lot of time to try to hit a high score. Very stylish and fun, would highly recommend to anybody who enjoys Centipede or arcadey shooting games in general. There are 3 arcade modes (one with powerups and one life, one with powerups and 3 lives, and one with no powerups and 3 lives) to chase high scores in, as well as missions with tight objectives that are geared toward more casual players (though these also have high score leaderboards!) Would absolutely recommend this on a sale, and maybe at full price if you're REALLY into Centipede.

Ти відчуваєш як рухаєш цей корабель і він достатньо швидкий і мобільний, щоб це було зручно. Достатнє різноманіття. Awesome game for $2, short and sweet

The old arcade classic Centipede but with a whole bunch of modern twists and the like. I never cared for the game play but I got this as part of a bundle. It plays ok though with some caveats: On Linux, mouse support is broken. I can't move the shooter past like half the screen. Controllers work fine. I also don't like multiplayer achievements, it tends to make the ribbon impossible to get at some point. I wish I could rate this 'mixed' but if you're a fan of Centipede, youll probably enjoy this one.

One of my favorite games of all time recharged in such a way that feels new yet Retro all while keeping the mechanics of a great game

The controls are a little tricky to get used to, but if you have the skills, patience and no sore thumb, you'll enjoy this game too.
