The arcade-style dogfights are fun for a while, and the comic book presentation gives it some personality. Unfortunately, the missions start to repeat themselves, and combat doesn't really evolve as you progress. It's entertaining in short sessions but runs out of steam pretty quickly.
Игра в сто раз хуже Skydrift. Уж совсем аркадная и дешевенькая. Можно накинуть балл за сеттинг. Все остальное посредственно.
Thumbs up because not many of these games are out there. But it is somewhat repetitive in mission. There are 3 times of missions. Shot down things, maneuver through circles, and bomb things. The last two are boring, and the first is fun for a while, but it starts to feel very repetitive later.
Runs great and is really fun on Steam Deck!!
It is a nice setting and, after getting used to them, the graphics are nice. Gameplay: It is at times fun but also frustrating. You cannot chase a plane flying over you by pulling up because the game doesn't allow being upside down. That is such a deal-breaker for a flight game. And at the edge of the map, enemies bounce off an invisible barrier which is fine, but they keep flying in which is super annoying - the AI should have been tweaked so that enemies stay away from the barrier if possible. Controls: It seems to be a console game, so the keyboard controls are terrible. I died a lot because I couldn't find the barrel roll button fast enough. Plus, after a while of playing, your little finger hurts from using left shift. Aiming relies on auto-aim to some degree. No aiming by mouse, only via keys, which is not great. Balancing: I guess it's OK, though in some later missions it feels unfair when you have 5 aces on your tail plus flak so you die quickly in a bullet storm. And if you turn around you have 4 planes flying into you like kamikaze planes, not much you can do but reset and go again... Story: some vague references to historical squads and people in cutscenes, but not very informative about historical events nor a fully fledged out story-line. Not great, not bad. Recommendation: This game is just at the edge, so difficult to decide whether to recommend or not. I tend towards "no", but if you like arcadey flying games then this might be good for you - especially if you are comfortable using gamepads (which I assume must be better than keyboard controls).
Game is dead. It's virtually impossible to modify the controls. Sometimes you can access the menu, sometimes not. In the end, it always fails because the modified assignments fail to save. This game is dead. And the aforementioned phenomenon also affects the mouse, HOTAS and controller.
horrible control scheme for an arcade game let us use mouse reticle for God sake!!
this is fun game , also has great graphic. but one of problem is , the story line is very short so i finished under 5 hour..but generally good game in this class
