About

Dive into the microscopic world - cure the virus ravaging the planet. In Cell Command, units grow when they move, and attacks shrink them. A "tank" could be a long, winding python that clogs up the battlefield & encircles its prey!

Command cells (get it?) to construct bridges for ranged units to strike from afar, or poke holes in the map to trap hostiles. Gain attack bonuses when your cells form specific shapes with their long bodies. Dominate with godlike build synergies. Make use of poison, radiation, thorns & more.

Skill issue: the game. A fantastic turn-based strategy game where more often than not your worst own enemy is your inability to figure out a combo that will let you make the most of your commander's skills and abilities. Loads of combinations and builds to keep you entertained with. Amazing game overall!
Overall a great game, except for the Joker commander. Its mechanical gimmick is that each turn your cells get random buffs, but that's a footnote compared to all the visual interference it causes. At the start of your run it's just mild distortions and tiles being rotated a bit, by the end it's a struggle to tell which tiles are next to each other, the screen flips upside down every so often, the "Undo" button randomly swaps places with "End this unit's turn", and that's not even half of it. That said, you can also just not play as Joker; the only reward it offers (aside from 100% completion) is an equippable perk that causes your cells to use their commands on themselves whenever they use it on others, which has maybe 2 theoretical use cases that still probably aren't worth putting up with it causing your attackers to hit themselves.

Good game with original mechanics.
Clever new concept with high replayability!
Really fun once you get the builds down.
Cell Command is a breath of fresh air in the strategy genre. The sheer diversity is staggering, from the vast array of units you can create through its unique DNA splicing mechanic to the multitude of commanders and game modes. The game constantly throws clever challenges your way, forcing you to think several moves ahead. It’s a brilliantly unique system that creates mind-bending tactical puzzles you won't find anywhere else. A must-play for strategy fans!
Probably the weirdest combat/strategy system ever, but it just works! The ACGT system makes EVERYTHING satisfying. EVERYTHING. (leaving review to help the dev, dont wanna wait until 40+ hours to review it when I already know it's absolute peak)
nice simple- well "simple" polished game I like it
