Whimsical Heroes

Дуже мила гра! Тут і мальовка затишна, і кумедні персонажі, і класні життєствердні мелодії. Грі не вистачає тільки більшого різноманіття персонажів та навичок і довшої кампанії, але все попереду, бо це тільки ранній доступ. Розробникам бажаю успіхів і не забути додати українську локалізацію.

Gra jest na bardzo wczesnym etapie, lecz ma bardzo dobrą podstawę - i choć długo to zajmie, nim osiągnie stan, który można by nazwać pełnym, to wciąż jest już teraz bardzo dobra. Ma także ogromne pole do rozwoju, więc z czasem z pewnością się rozrośnie. Tak czy inaczej, potrafi nieco wciągnąć już w tym wczesnym dostępie - na razie raczej "na chwilę" - Jednakże wiele jest rzeczy, które mogą się tu w przyszłości zjawić.

This review is specially made for those who like to get all the achievements in games. Some spoilers ahead. Whimsical Heroes is a short indie turn based tactics game with a team of three heroes where you move around in a grid based map with the objective of defeating the enemies in that map. In short, it’s a cheaper and simpler version of Wildermyth. The graphics are cute and charming and the characters have an original design, mixing animals and vegetables, but at this point, the backgrounds are almost the same in most battles with little variety besides green forests and fields. The gameplay is fairly simple, apparently with no flanking bonuses or covers to reduce hit chance only character starts. Besides the story mode where the battles and events are pre-scripted there is also a roguelite “Adventure” mode where the battles are random, but again the maps and enemies are the same as the ones in the Story mode, only in different configurations. The achievements are easy to get with the exception of a hidden one:[spoiler] In the story mode where you have to pick a direction, you have to pick the side where the firefly is glowing to reach the magic tree. Regarding the other two mutually exclusive achievements, to avoid having to do a second run, when you reach the hedgehog battle, you defeat it or not attack him, finish the battle, and once the achievement pops up, return to main menu and repeat the battle and do the other choice to get the other achievement.[/spoiler] [b]Achievements:[/b] [b]How many:[/b] 10 Achievements. [b]How much time:[/b] Took me 3 hours, but I had to complete the game several times. With the tips I wrote above and if you change the combat speed to 3, it probably takes 2 hours or less. [b]Overall opinion:[/b] Whimsical Heroes is an interesting TBT game with cute characters and a beautiful visual style but it’s still missing a lot of content that hopefully will be added in the following updates. Babi's First Turn Based RPG. This is a great game if you have a young one that you are trying to get into the genre. The mechanics are laid out easily to understand for anyone while still having a touch of difficulty and strategy. The art style reminds me of a children's story book from the early 2000s. All of this talk of children is not a negative and I think it kind of sets this game apart from any other turn based. Recommend for anyone who wants a relaxing RPG with nice aesthetics or an entry game into the genre for their chitlins.

What a wonderful game. It has all the Quality of Life features, cute animations and tactical depth. I like the cute look and feel of the game. But dont let it fool you about the challenge. I am playing on normal and have a great time, thinking and acting. Thank you very much for your game.

Kellemes meglepetés ami a körökre-osztott indie címeket illeti, kiemelkedő lett az átlagtól, már most változatos ellenfelek ellen játszhatunk ami nem is egyszerű első nekifutásra, aztán amikor megjelent a Boss akkor kicsit meglepődtem annyi életereje volt, csak ajánlani tudom, nem is drága korai hozzáféréses verzióhoz képest, tartalom az nem tudom hogy mennyi lehet benne, de erősen roguelike stílusban adagolja az előre haladást így érthető hogy el lehet húzni a játékot :) Köszönöm a fejlesztőktől a játék kulcsot ,csak így tovább :)
