Beautiful game; the best game. Celeste is positively rich in its depth of mechanics and characters and level design, offering a substantial base game and a relatively enormous post-game, combined with a ridiculously polished and cohesive visual and audio style. Thus, I have played on Steam, Xbox, and Switch each more times than I can remember, and it simply never gets old. To this day in 2026 I still come back to Celeste because it is a genuine classic of the era. I would recommend this game to literally anyone - even if they aren't already a platform gamer, as it is not typically not very punishing of failures, and there are even options to enable exploring the story and world without the admittedly high difficulty. Truly, Celeste is a work of art and dedicated passion that all should endeavor to experience. BONUS: the modding community for Celeste is outstanding and puts out fan-made levels that can even rival the base game.
