Once again I'm playing a game from my childhood. This one is special though. This is THE game from my childhood. The artwork, music, sound design, etc. Every aspect of this game brings happy memories and good vibes. However, when I play it now I realize that it isn't just a wonderful game to me because of nostalgia, but because I'm much more well versed in what I believe a great game to be, and this game meets all the criteria. Cave Story is a magical experience that I wish for everyone to enjoy. A true classic, and a true masterpiece. If you value indie games, please play Cave Story. You won't regret it. Much love.

this game is a genuine indie classic that deserves to be considered in the same grade as all timers such as undertale and hollow knight. but unfortuinately I feel like it's very much so not as well known as those 2
