I hope the developers have a wonderful day today but then for the rest of their lifes they have to dedicate a hour a day to playing harm mode of this wonderful amazing game. I hope they can also relish in the joy hard mode cave story + brings not only me but any other people that play this wonderful alt mode. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for making such an amazing hard mode experience, being so diverse in the changes you did to the base game to make it not only more enganging but also a unique challenge. Thank you, and to every other person that plays harm mode of this game I hope you also enjoy the fun times that come!!

An old internet classic, very much worth playing even today. It's a relatively simple game with a simple story, with simple mechanics and simple progression, and yet its still a charming passion project from a single guy
One of the best games I've played, which is really saying something for its time. Seems like heavy inspiration for Celeste as far as gameplay, and undertale as far as story/dialogue. Tons of fun with charming characters, and an absolutely amazing story.

It's still a good game in a vacuum, but it's definitely outclassed by it's descendants. There's still a nice indie charm to the game though, which I found pretty nice. Idk I just don't have a ton to say about it. It's good, but compared to more modern games it pales in comparison. 6/10

There is a bug when trying to collect the 5th puppy in which they don't spawn, I would like for you to look it over and see if you can patch it

Я слышал об этой игре довольно давно уже. То там, то сям вдруг краем уха вдруг услышу что-то про эту игру. И такое было не раз. Ну, в один момент я взял и решил купить и пройти эту игру. К тому же, это один из прародителей жанра инди игр. Почему бы и нет? Ну, начнём по порядку. Графика простенькая. Этот ремейк порадовал тем, что можно включить в настройках оригинальную графику (с которой я большую часть времени и играл). Но и графика ремейка тоже не самая сложная. Музыка тут в целом тоже простенькая. Можно выбрать аж несколько разных исполнений саундтрека, тоже хорошо! В целом слушать приятно, но особо полюбившихся тем у меня нет. Геймплей, на самом деле, не самый продуманный. Ходишь-бродишь, стреляешь во всё что движется и иногда в то, что не движется. Идёшь из точки а в точку б, иногда сражаешься с боссами. Особой сложности тут нет. Боссы все простые, с пары попыток проходится каждый. Платформинг тоже простой. Приятно, но не более. Сюжет тут неплохой. Простой и который не даст заскучать, пусть его тут и не так уж и много. Ничего прямо про него сказать не могу. А итог: На деле, игра средняя. Простая графика, простая музыка, простой геймлпей и простая история. Всё тут просто! Для общей эрудиции можно сыграть. К тому же она часто с огромными скидками продаётся. Скорее рекомендую.
