One of the true original Indie games to make it big, and my personal favorite of them all. An extremely simple and still extremely rewarding experience that actively motivates you to backtrack, try out new things, and sample every piece of dialogue that you can before moving on to the next challenge.
This was basically the first non-browser game I ever played on a laptop. Such fond memories of this one. All-time classic for a reason.

I've been playing Cave Story since I was a little girl, and it remains one of my favorite games of all time. An engaging storyline, fast-paced platformer gameplay, and fun characters, what's not to love?
excellent version of the game with a ton of options, sensibly implemented controller support (which is a weird rarity these days), and baked-in mod support. all that at a price 25 dollars cheaper than the switch version, while still containing more than it, and the deal is kind of a no-brainer
depois de horas depositadas neste jogo, descobri uma descoberta incrível... robôs podem fazer traquinagem, atitudes libidinosos, tive a conclusão que a Curly Brace, aquele roboa loira que mata bicho e os caralho. Tem uma calcinha, me senti que nem o davy jones achando uma referencia da band no gta 5. Isso me fez ter um fetiche por seres metálicos, pois eles possui órgãos reprodutivos, eu não estou doido, o jogo afirma. notas: 10/10, isso me fez querer ter relações românticas com máquinas, irei comprar o Haydee só por isso. essa foi minha mensagem. pois afinal é Cave Story :D
