Welcome to New Wirral, a remote island inhabited by strange creatures you’ve only dreamed of, nightmares you hopefully haven’t, and a cast of brave folks who use cassette tapes to transform for battle. To find a way home you’ll need to explore every inch of the island, and record monsters to your trusty cassette tapes to gain their abilities!
Faced with the constant threat of monster attacks, the residents of Harbourtown, New Wirral choose to fight fire with fire. Record a monster to tape, then play it back to take on its form for battle!
Getting close to your companion has benefits–while transformed you can combine your strengths to gain the upper hand in battle! Any two monster forms can be fused to produce unique, fully-animated new fusion forms.
Certain monster abilities can be used in human form. You’ll need these to help you get around, solve puzzles, and locate dungeons. Glide, fly, swim, climb, dash, or turn magnetic! Take on the Gauntlet – a never-ending battle mode where you’ll face fearsome enemies for precious material and glory!
Never fight alone! Form bonds, spend time together, and help your selected partner complete personal goals to become a better team. The strength of your relationship determines how well you’re able to fuse!
Take advantage of elemental chemistry to apply extra buffs or debuffs alongside your attack, or even alter your opponent’s elemental type!
Team up with a friend in local multiplayer to explore, transform, and fight together!
Party up with Online Multiplayer to trade monster tapes, challenge your friends to 1v1 battles, and team up to take on powerful Rogue Fusion beasts for great rewards!

Já faz um tempo que finalizei a história principal. Essa opinião é de alguém que retornou ao jogo depois de concluir a DLC. Esse jogo é um sonho realizado de qualquer fã do gênero monster catcher/tamer que cresceu jogando Pokémon de Game Boy, GBA ou Nintendo DS. Ele possui exploração, modo multiplayer/co-op e uma ótima trilha sonora! Falei brincando com um amigo que Cassette Beasts é um jogo de Digimon melhor do que muito jogo de Digimon, e, depois de zerar o Time Stranger, tenho que reforçar esse argumento (seria um jogo de Digimon perfeito se unissem tudo que tem nesse jogo, às mecânicas de evolução do Time Stanger). Deixando de lado as comparações e focando no que importa, arrisco dizer que até mesmo o tempo de jogatina necessário para finalizá-lo está perfeito. Para mim foram umas 20 e poucas horas, que deram ao tempo o suficiente para explorarmos em profundidade suas mecânicas sem que ele se tornasse cansativo, ou batido. A história é muito legal. Creio que não seja algo que você vá se lembrar depois de um certo tempo, mas o mistério acerca do que é New Wirral e ameaças presentes nesse mundo são o suficiente para te prender. O cast de personagens é muito diverso, e acho que você irá gostar ao menos da estética de um deles. Gosto como eles até mesmo se livraram daquela lógica de "rinha de bicho" que a maioria dos monster tamers têm, onde, geralmente, você usa seu monstrinho para bater em outros monstrinhos. Aqui, VOCÊ é o monstro (numa lógica parecida com Digimon Frontiers). A fusão é uma mecânica muito legal. No entanto, boa parte delas, por ser gerada proceduralmente, não é muito bonita. No entanto, considerando o tamanho do studio, é algo que dá para se entender, pois isso geraria um trabalho imensurável. Algumas estratégias (tipo stall) trivializam muitos dos bosses. Devo admitir que isso deu uma facilitada ENORME no jogo, mas, foi divertido sair compondo um time até montar esse combo apelão. As interações de tipagens desse jogo dão um frescor ao gênero. Ao invés do tipo fogo, por exemplo, ter um bônus de dano contra o tipo plástico, um ataque de fogo transforma um monstro do tipo plástico em venenoso. Cada tipo possui uma interação semelhante, e isso permite com que possamos fazer combos a partir dos resultados dessas interações e virar um combate a nosso favor. No geral, indico esse jogo a qualquer um que goste de jogos de mundo aberto e/ou possuem curiosidade a respeito do gênero monster tamer. Ele possui mecânicas o suficiente para não cansar cognitivamente um jogador novato, e para manter os mais experientes engajados. Se puder, jogue online. A experiência fica ainda melhor!
世界观设计让人眼前一亮，属性克制也不是简单的加伤害或者减伤害，根据不同属性的特点设计了很多不同的效果，很有意思而且也很容易理解！妖怪们的技能搭配非常非常自由，技能贴纸的效果很多可以根据自己喜好来搭配。妖怪形象设计虽然可能没有那种特别可爱或者美丽类型，但也别有一番风味！

Cassette Beast es un Pokémon para DS pero mejor, me encanta poder personalizar mi personaje a mi antojo más haya de solo elegir Género Femenino/Masculino o Otre, ya que el meme de soy Binario se hizo canon de golpe. En Cassette Beast puedes tener pareja sentimental con uno de los 5 personajes disponibles, sí eliges a Felix lo tendrás a él y a Kuneko como Plus. Me he jugado en total tres juegos de Pokémon, como fueron mí segunda experiencia en juegos tipo Captura de Mountruos estoy tan acostumbrado a superar a los personajes y criaturas salvajes con 70 Niveles de diferencia y matarlos de un golpe, Cassette Beast aunque te gané por 20 Niveles no puedo matar al instante a un insignificante Traffikrab de Nivel 1, al comienzo es complicado avanzar por la zona ya que cada enfrentamiento te dejará super cansado, lo bueno es que hay puntos de descanso por todo el mapa, aún así en ningún momento sentirás tener la ventaja y eso me encanta. Durante el combate existe la fusión, cosa que me dejó totalmente loco, el Tema de fondo es cantado, cosa que hace que las batallas contra Arcángeles o Fusiones Salvajes super épicas, además, cada fusión es diferente, en Cassette Beast hay 130 Bestias en total, pensar que alguien tuvo que programar o diseñar eso me hace ver el amor que tuvieron los creadores por su juego, aunque algunas no cambian mucho yo ni loco hubiera hecho ese trabajo y eso no es todo. Los Shiny en Cassette Beast se llaman Cintas Pirata, no sólo tienen un color diferente, también cambia el tipo :"D Básicamente tienes una criatura totalmente nueva, los creadores del juego de vez en cuando te regalan alguno por Eventos Especiales celebrando el juego. ❤︎ En conclusión: Cassette Beast es clave. Psdt: Mi mamá me miró escribiendo mí reseña y me dijo que voy a dejar al mundo sin tinta.

This is a great game! I don't have any deep thoughts, if you like creature collectors this is a very cool take on the genre and very fun to play Currently working on 100%-ing it, haven't run into anything buggy with the exception of occasional crashes in the same spots during [spoiler] the train gauntlet fights [/spoiler]
