Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 7 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Sorry for my bad english, im not a native speaker, but as a diehard Castlevania fan I need to recommend this game to anyone. Carpathian Night is a masterpiece. I finished almost all Castlevania games and I can say this game is a legit classicvania experience. I just think the game missed some kind of score system (you know, earn points to kill anemies, finish the stages quick, don't receive damage and then see your score in the end) and that's my only criticism. Bela Lugosi is eternal.
This is a fun Castlevania-style platformer that doesn't quite hit the heights of the best of that series, but also plays more than well enough to beat out a few actual entries as well. The pixel art is a bit of a meld between NES-style proportions and SNES color palette, and it looks very nice. I'd have appreciated a bit more animated touches in the backdrops, however, and would have liked for the text in the game to maintain consistency with the pixel resolutions. Those are just small gripes, however. I found some of the music to also be excellent, and I like how one of the last stages mixed things up a bit mechanically. Thematically, it made sense, too. On normal mode, the game isn't all that difficult, you'll respawn very close to where you died. It's a bit more of a challenge if you want to clear each stage with no deaths, as there are some tricky platforming bits. I haven't played Wicked mode yet, so I'm guessing that's quite a bit tougher, and may provide the challenge old-school Castlevania fans seek. Control maps closest to Super Castlevania IV, at least with the character I used. Multi-directional whipping, and full mid-air control of your jump. You also pick up skills along the way for grabbing hidden gems, many of which are very useful for some tough enemy placements when fighting near pits. All in all, I really enjoyed this one, and recommend it to folks that want some Classicvania vibes.

Are you looking for a Castlevania that's actually Castlevania instead of a metroidvania? Well, Carpathian Night has you covered. It has all the difficulty of let's say Castlevania III but prettied up with QoL upgrades such as a dash and various skills to unlock. There's hidden gems to find and lore to gather in each level which rewards taking a second look at a bleeding wall or shiny floor. There's 2 characters with differing weapons and abilities, 12 levels, and a "wicked" remix second playthrough that shuffles enemies/obstacles/collectibles. Fully completing the game with the four playthroughs, all achievements, and plenty of deaths to flying skulls took a little over 17 hours. My major gripe with the game would have to be that a few of the 12 bosses look like they needed a little more time in the art studio as some of the pixels just do not mesh well with the heroes or compared to other enemies. Overall, it's an excellent homage to classically difficult Castlevanias of old and a great addition to the genre. I also really don't know why Bela Lugosi was licensed for this but it's kinda fun seeing his face in the game.
If you love Castlevania, Universal Monsters, Bela lugosi or just a great game, this is for you.
Awesome classicvania -like if you are a fan of the bloodstained curse of the moon / crypt stalker type games you will love this. It’s a straight toward romp through Dracula’s castle with whip or long weapon (kind of like castlevania bloodlines ) very good game nothing revolutionary but it doesn’t have to be pays respect to the great Bela Lugosi and to castlevania and classic horror as a whole. Recommend.
Straightforward Castlevania-inspired platformer with charming pixel art and a more relaxed approach to challenge while still requiring some skill and focus. Feels like a labor of love from a small team (complimentary). Check it out if you miss the old school days of Gothic horror games from the 8- and 16-bit eras.
I first played this game in the demo booth at Dreamhack. If you're a fan of Dracula based "Vania" type games, you'll be right at home with this one. Perfect for Halloween! Bela Lugosi is the goat!
This is bloody fantastic. Reminds me of old school Castlevania in all the best ways. It runs perfectly on the steam deck too - which is what I'm playing this on.
