The Flat Kingdom is a beautiful and peaceful 2D land, but now it’s threatened by an evil thief and becoming 3D! The only who can stop the chaos is Flat, a little hero able to change into a circle, triangle or square in order to solve puzzles, overcome obstacles and defeat giant bosses!

In addition to unpolished movements, the character is pretty sluggish 2/3 of the time. The levels are long and very slow. The bosses as well are a slog. This game is NOT fun.
Flat Kingdom has a very cute art style, but feels really bad to actually play. It's hard for me to think of another game that simultaneously feels like it's holding your hand and making you go slowly while also being full of moments where the game punishes you cheaply (why do these handful of things that look like a triangle hurt me when I'm a square, after you've clearly established that the square is impervious to triangles, for example). It was really frustrating to play in an entirely uninteresting way.
Yet another key-revoking dev https://steamcommunity.com/app/405970/discussions/0/1741106440036954509/
Cutscenes are 3 fps, writing is cliche and boring, fell asleep during the stories setup.
This game is made out of paper, but it's a decent sheet of paper and the art style of this paper is the main feature of this paper game.
There is a game breaking bug in the final boss fight. Its been a known issue for over 2 years now. I wish I would have known this in the first place because I wouldn't have wasted my time playing through the game just for that. if it weren't for that, it would have been a slightly above mediocre game. It does some needless padding to the gameplay especially towards the end but I would probably just pass this game up even on sale. It doesn't look like the dev is going to fix this issue.
