Caromble!

This game gets way to difficult, way to fast! The play field is way to short for the precise movements you're required to perform. The camera movement and screen shake make it very easy to lose track of the ball. The stage designs are not well thought out given the short play field and and game mechanics. All this combined makes the game infuriating!

Looked like a good take on the classic Breakout game and was enjoying it until I reached a level that was just rubbish. Usually if you miss a ball with your bumper you lose the ball. In this level if you missed your target you lose the ball off the top of the screen. Additionally the contact area of the bumper is below a floating blue force field type thing which makes it unnecessarily deceiving. Many times I made "contact" with the edge of the force field, only to have the ball pass through missing the contact area and lose a ball. Really annoying and easily fixed.

I love this game. The varied game mechanics make for a captivating & novel experience, whilst the art style, humour, enthusiasm & commitment of the developers to this project raise the game to even higher levels. It really deserves much wider exposure now that it's finally complete. I wish Crimson Owl Studios all the best with their marketing as the game comes out of early access & will be watching out for any new projects from them.

一个抢先体验了快10年的打砖块类的游戏，特点就是难。玩了3小时好不容易才解锁了一个成就，一看所有玩家的解锁率才3.6%，这还是最容易的一个成就了，其他的解锁率更低，而且这3.6%我都怀疑有一部分是用工具解锁的。我认为打砖块应该是休闲类的吧，真的有想自虐的打砖块硬核玩家？

I thought this game was going to be more fun. The levels all look the same; no creativity in themes or bosses, same boss every time. Some years ago I saw a better brick-hitting game similar to this one on Amazon and it looked way more fun with lots of power-ups and better scenarios, and this was almost 10 years ago. I recommend you play it with your mouse. I tried playing it using a controller and it didn't work well on my PC. The mouse responded well enough. It is also a little difficult with only two-balls per scenario and you have to finish a stage that consists of at least four scenarios and if you lose you're back to the first scenario of the whole stage. Overrated and expensive, especially expensive. I whish I would've played this in the first 30 days to get my money back; it's not enjoyable for me and this makes it even more boring than already is. I do play it, but I quickly leave it. Overall, save your money for something else; I've seen SNES games of the same genre that are more creative and fun.

I was searching for an alternative of a space breakout game I missed before it was gone : Pinbot from a solo indie developer called sante76. It looked like a hidden gem and I wanted to find another game similar to this one. Hopefully, I found Caromble! It is indeed a great breakout space game like the one from above I missed. I'm just at the first minutes, but alrealdy, I can say the gameplay is intuitive and fun. The space keyboard key strenght charging mecanic is also refreshing. Graphics are great. I recommend this game. Thanks!

Its a pretty solid indie game for the price. After I read the early access FAQ, I am kinda jealous of the devs. 5 good friends, working together during spare time and build the game they liked. That is probably the best life and friendship you can get. Cheers, for friendship and dedication.

Very fun brick breaker! It nails that “just one more try” loop so well. A great mix of chaotic fun and skill.

Caromble! — это просто находка для всех, кто любит арканоиды, но хочет чего-то свежего и необычного. Игра берёт классическую формулу и прокачивает её на максимум: тут тебе и физика, и 3D-мир, и элементы пинбола с платформингом — всё это работает удивительно гармонично. Особенно порадовало, насколько разнообразный геймплей: исследуешь уровни, выполняешь трюки и даже сражаешься с боссами (в игре есть сюжет). Плюс система усилений добавляет интриги — постоянно интересно, что откроется дальше. Визуально и по ощущениям игра очень динамичная и затягивающая. Есть тот самый «ещё один уровень» эффект, оторваться сложно 😄 Если ты фанат арканоидов или просто любишь необычные аркады с физикой — однозначно рекомендую попробовать Caromble!.
