About

Carnival Hunt is a 5v1 first-person asymmetrical horror game set within a twisted carnival world created by the Puppetmaster.
Five players become fragile wind-up Bunnies who must work together, complete objectives, and find a way to escape. One player becomes the Carnival Monster, hunting them before they can complete their performance.
Both sides depend on their wind-up charge to survive. Bunnies must manage limited keys and keep one another moving, while the Monster must capture Bunnies and consume their keys to remain active.
Every key makes noise. Every mistake can reveal your position. Every second brings the performance closer to its end.
Work together as a team of five wind-up Bunnies.
Complete objectives, explore the map, share resources, and coordinate your escape before the Carnival Monster finds you.
The Bunnies are not powerful fighters. Survival depends on teamwork, careful movement, resource management, and knowing when to hide.
A separated Bunny is an easy target.
Your wind-up charge gradually runs down throughout the match.
Use keys to keep yourself moving, wind up your teammates, and activate important mechanisms. Keys are limited, and using them creates noise that can reveal your location to the Monster.
Spend them carelessly, and your team may not have enough charge to escape.
Bunnies must keep one another moving.
Trust is a resource.
Groups of fallen Bunnies can be found throughout the carnival.
Hide among them and pretend to be one of the lifeless puppets when the Monster approaches.
The Monster can inspect the bodies one by one, but every search costs precious time and charge. Remain still, stay convincing, and hope the Monster chooses incorrectly.
Take control of the Carnival Monster and stop the Bunnies before they escape.
Track their movements, disrupt their objectives, separate the group, and consume their wind-up keys to extend your own charge.
Each Monster has unique abilities designed around hunting, deception, pressure, and control.
Predict where the Bunnies will go.
Punish their mistakes.
Break their coordination.
Every player experiences the hunt from a first-person perspective, limiting situational awareness and keeping danger just outside their field of view.
Use positional voice chat to communicate with your teammates, but be careful. The Monster may be listening.
Winding keys, activating mechanisms, moving through the environment, and communicating at the wrong moment can expose your position.
Sometimes silence is the safest strategy.

Explore procedurally arranged map layouts built from 32 modular rooms across several carnival themes. Routes, room connections, and the spaces you encounter can change from one match to the next.
Each hunt challenges the Bunnies to understand their surroundings, complete their objectives, and adapt before the Monster brings the performance to an end.
The Monster performs.
The Bunnies perform.
Even death has a role to play.
Customize your character and enter the carnival dressed to impress, intimidate, or deceive.
After all, every performer needs the right costume.
Wind your friends. Protect your keys. Listen carefully.
The carnival is waiting.

To be honest, i really like this game. The feeling is awesome. The concept is awesome. The actual game is... not really. I know, its still early access, but as most of the assymetrical games, this one is also heavily killer sided. Most of the bunnies dont know what to do, and hard to be good, except if you have a team, which of course makes the bunny life easier. Killers has strong abilities, actually kids can use easily. But what my biggest problems are about the maps. They are random (most of the time) except if you play a lot, then you will probably get the same patterns lately again. But ropes are terrible, its hard to use them most of the time. Finding gears, or good items are also terrible. Most of the time, every bunny just loot dead bunnies, and gets the items, and dont even know how to use them. Wasting the chances from others. There are chests on the map, but without keys, just forget them. Of course, not many keys or radars are usually on the map. So good luck. Opening ways up to floor 2-3-4 is terrible. There are around 4 or 5 ways to go up, but also, killers defends the easiest ones by camping there, and if a bunny goes for the harder way, killer just can teleport there... Chases most of the time are max 10 seconds, especially if a bunny doesnt have any rockets or marbles. Also, skill checks for bunnies are also terrible. For the killers its much easier. After being in the cage, good luck, all you can do is wait for a bunny, or open yourself the cage, which takes like forever... Also if killers are camping your cage, or ordering there a puppet or a fake bunny, after you come out, you are caught again... terrible game experience. BUT! I still like this game, even if its unfair. If I want to go a lazy game, I go killer, if I want to have some challange, I go as a bunny. The inventory, shop, and other menu things are also really early... some gears are not even working, so dont waste your resources on making new things for now. And I didnt even talked about the cheaters... yes, there are cheaters sadly... I only recommend this game with hope, that this game will be much better. So if you want to play, only if you understand, this is early acces, and there are bugs, and not everything works well.
stop play dbd... start play this.. so cool
okay
As of writing this review the game does have some bad server issues, however I imagine that will be fixed fairly soon and the game did just launch the other day. Other than ping issues, this game is a lot of fun. A very refreshing take on asymmetrical horror imo as it feels like it actually embraces the "horror" aspect. The game is a slower pace with 30 minute matches, with more of a focus on stealth to avoid being caught. I really look forward to future updates and see a lot of potential going forwards. If the server issues turn you off, then pop this into your wishlist and check back in a few weeks or so down the line. Once that is resolved this is a high recommendation from me if you enjoy horror games and asym multiplayer.
