About

Carnival Hunt is a 5v1 first-person asymmetrical horror game set within a twisted carnival world created by the Puppetmaster.
Five players become fragile wind-up Bunnies who must work together, complete objectives, and find a way to escape. One player becomes the Carnival Monster, hunting them before they can complete their performance.
Both sides depend on their wind-up charge to survive. Bunnies must manage limited keys and keep one another moving, while the Monster must capture Bunnies and consume their keys to remain active.
Every key makes noise. Every mistake can reveal your position. Every second brings the performance closer to its end.
Work together as a team of five wind-up Bunnies.
Complete objectives, explore the map, share resources, and coordinate your escape before the Carnival Monster finds you.
The Bunnies are not powerful fighters. Survival depends on teamwork, careful movement, resource management, and knowing when to hide.
A separated Bunny is an easy target.
Your wind-up charge gradually runs down throughout the match.
Use keys to keep yourself moving, wind up your teammates, and activate important mechanisms. Keys are limited, and using them creates noise that can reveal your location to the Monster.
Spend them carelessly, and your team may not have enough charge to escape.
Bunnies must keep one another moving.
Trust is a resource.
Groups of fallen Bunnies can be found throughout the carnival.
Hide among them and pretend to be one of the lifeless puppets when the Monster approaches.
The Monster can inspect the bodies one by one, but every search costs precious time and charge. Remain still, stay convincing, and hope the Monster chooses incorrectly.
Take control of the Carnival Monster and stop the Bunnies before they escape.
Track their movements, disrupt their objectives, separate the group, and consume their wind-up keys to extend your own charge.
Each Monster has unique abilities designed around hunting, deception, pressure, and control.
Predict where the Bunnies will go.
Punish their mistakes.
Break their coordination.
Every player experiences the hunt from a first-person perspective, limiting situational awareness and keeping danger just outside their field of view.
Use positional voice chat to communicate with your teammates, but be careful. The Monster may be listening.
Winding keys, activating mechanisms, moving through the environment, and communicating at the wrong moment can expose your position.
Sometimes silence is the safest strategy.

Explore procedurally arranged map layouts built from 32 modular rooms across several carnival themes. Routes, room connections, and the spaces you encounter can change from one match to the next.
Each hunt challenges the Bunnies to understand their surroundings, complete their objectives, and adapt before the Monster brings the performance to an end.
The Monster performs.
The Bunnies perform.
Even death has a role to play.
Customize your character and enter the carnival dressed to impress, intimidate, or deceive.
After all, every performer needs the right costume.
Wind your friends. Protect your keys. Listen carefully.
The carnival is waiting.

I wanted to love this game. A creepy abandoned carnival. Twisted circus horror. Wind-up Bunnies, an unhinged Magician stalking the midway, and now the Sisters creeping around with haunted mannequins and giant scissors. This should've easily been one of my favorite horror games. The look and feel absolutely carries Carnival Hunt. The art style is gorgeous. It's one of those games where I want to stop just to admire the environment because it's doing so much of the heavy lifting. The movement is surprisingly fun too. Flying around with ziplines, blasting yourself out of cannons, riding the Ferris Wheel, or desperately escaping on a unicycle gives the game a personality all its own. Learning the map and finding shortcuts is genuinely satisfying. There's also a surprising amount of depth. As a Bunny you're constantly rescuing teammates, deciding when to carry or drop items, listening for the Magician, and trying not to accidentally recharge him by getting caught at the wrong time. The Imposter mechanic creates some genuinely tense moments, and overall the gameplay ideas are solid. Unfortunately... I don't enjoy playing it. I felt this way during the demo, and after spending considerably more time with the full game, my opinion hasn't changed. The biggest problem is that the game never feels welcoming to new or average players. The maps are huge, the mechanics are layered, and you're expected to know routes, shortcuts, sound cues, Magician tricks, and objectives almost immediately. It often feels like you're expected to lose over and over until everything finally clicks. Maybe that's a skill issue on my part, but it's also why I don't see myself sticking with this game. Then there's the camping. This is what really kills the game for me. Too many Magicians don't need to chase you—they just control the areas you need to pass through. Instead of committing to a chase, they'll hold the routes between floors or other key choke points until someone is forced to make a move. Maybe it's an effective strategy, but I don't think it's a fun one. Instead of exciting cat-and-mouse chases, matches often slow to a crawl while everyone waits for the Magician to leave... and most of the time, they don't. Teamwork doesn't always help either. I'll risk everything to rescue teammates, only to watch them run off while I'm left to fend for myself. If I do get forced back to the first floor, most of the Bunnies have already been looted, leaving me with very little to recover with. Too often it feels like one mistake snowballs into a match that's almost impossible to come back from.
game would be fun if i could get to the 2nd floor without getting camped every way up there. its just a 1st floor simulator. honestly would just rather play DBD
Оптимизации нет. На бетке работало лучше. Баланса нет. Sisters unbalanced. Берегите нервы. Не покупайте это, пока что.
If you play Killer 100% do not get this game it is like taking a shower with boiling hot water rubbing salt in your wounds after not a fun experience. I will update this as time goes on but for now ill keep it real. Amazing design only in terms of uniqueness to the genre. Magi VA is the real GOAT this game ever produced. It HAS the real chance to become a good foothold alongside DBD. HOWEVER due to the fact the devs are blatantly siding the bunny (survivor side) over the killer and its obvious. I'm talking continuous nerfs to killer over and over still yet no bunny nerfs. 4 floors to go up from 1-4 sounds simple right. Alright map design looks amazing yes but balance is off the charts in the negative. Not only do you have to deal with 5 bunnies consecutively they also have items rockets (stun), marbles (stun), cycle (minute long distance enabler), traps (for your cages), trampoline (getting to skip spots aka. cheating through main objectives getting a leg up so you don't notice), rope (uncounterable once 1 gets up a level they all can climb to the next floor), balloon (also to skip) and finally not taking damage if they fall down to escape you in chase. Which btw I didnt mention health states each bunny has 3 after that 3rd you can kill butttttttt there are oils which is a free gear up and there are many of them so no matter how much you outplay then they wont die most of the time. After numerous suggestions to said devs nothing has been done for over a month now. I have been timed out for speaking my piece on the state of the game with a declining killer population. Now reason said also the game has a massive cheater problem. If you aren't a bunny in this game you get nothing but stress. Good luck voicing your opinion as you might in my case get timed out time and time again. As the days go on I slowly lose my faith in this game but maybe just maybe the devs will actually listen to their community and balance the game as it should. If you made it this far thank you for coming to my Ted talk and have a blessed rest of your day King or Queen.
This game sucks.
I really really wanted to enjoy this game, and I've played a decent amount of early access games and demos, I was really excited upon booting up the game, and even helped a friend purchase the game to play with me, but upon the release of the twins, the game was met with ping issues (granted I didn't play to many games) but with the issues I faced, I decided this wasn't a game I wanted to play in early access, So I'm refunding until the game is fully launched and the issues are hopefully resolved.
The servers and optimization are a steaming pile of ♥♥♥♥. They tested this years ago and still haven't figured out the localization, plus it's riddled with bugs. 你妈进游戏永远少队友,bug一堆,优化一坨,草你妈,汉化一辈子就整个机翻还不全死妈东西。
The killer experience either goes one of two ways. 1. The bunnies are completely clueless and you are able to hold them on floors 1 and 2 with barely any interaction as they wander aimlessly. 2. The bunnies miraculously make it all the way to floor 3 before you can even find anyone and then when you finally find someone they somehow already have every single item in their inventory so you can't catch them anyways and the game ends leaving you wondering if they were cheating or not. This has happened to me twice in a row today, which was my breaking point. The MMR system makes it so all of your games start as scenario 1 then you are immediately pushed into scenario 2 once your MMR is high enough for the rest of your time in this game. I get why they devs keep nerfing the killer for casuals, but we are already entering DBD territory where the casual experience is killer sided but high level play is grossly survivor sided. I desperately want to like this game, and I did in the past playtests. When I lost in previous builds it didn't feel bad because I could tell where I misplayed and could do better. Now the game feels not in my control at all, which is the one thing you do not want the killer role to feel like. I was rooting for this game because it felt like the killer was an actual threat that controlled the pace of the game, the opposite of DBD. Now it feels just like DBD in that regard. I'll return to this if anything changes, but for now I'll just stick to DBD until the Halloween game comes out.
