Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.43/day in the week to Aug 2 → 5.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Cargo Hunters is a third-person extraction PvE shooter in which you control a remote-controlled humanoid robot to scavenge resources on a decaying Earth.
Collect and lose loot. Build your shelter. Face challenges. Battle enemies. Fall. Rise. Survive no matter how you define survival.
After the global temperature rise, mankind faced the emergence of superviruses released from the melting Antarctic ice. Within a few years, they wiped out everything that moved, grew, or breathed.
Those with wealth or power escaped the dying Earth, fleeing to [classified] during the 'Second Exodus' colonization program in [classified]. Just before the first outbreak. Now they’re paying a ton of money to get their shiny, useless memorabilia back.
It’s all about you and how you get the job done. Brute force, sneak, steal, craft, buy, find. Do what you will.
But once you lose, you lose everything you’ve found. So think carefully. Equip pragmatically.
Carrying capacity, weight, noise, condition—everything matters.
You already have a human-shaped body. So wear human clothes or armor. Use their weapons. Add replaceable limbs. Dismember the fallen. Harvest their body parts. Recycle what’s unnecessary. That is the daily routine.
A lot of firearms brings a lot of trouble (and fun). Different specs, ballistics, conditions, ammo types, modifications, and handling.
So it’s up to you: what do you prefer? Blunt force, maybe? Huh.
Let’s begin our aimless, ever-changing, merciless journey together. This cruel no-man’s homeland awaits.
But for whom?

It's still in early stages but what's there is fun and a great skeleton. The gun play is fun, the AI needs some work, the levels are well designed. The first area is basically a giant brutal tutorial zone which even then its pretty difficult. Chopping off limbs is neat but I havent found a reason to keep doing it other than getting new heads. Overall I find it worth it and Im excited about future updates.
Was looking for a purely PVE extraction shooter and this game met the criteria very well. Some notes: - The shoulder swap feature is purely camera based; I would like it to be changed to a proper shoulder swap in version 1.0 - 7 hours in, there are only 2 maps in the game and a potential 3rd one; might need to unlock it, not sure. 4 to 5 maps would be nice. - No lean function as of yet. - Essential materials for upgrades do take a while to stock up on cause of the carry weight All in all, I enjoy this game and am looking forward to what the team develops for the full release.
A free copy was provided so I could play co-op with a friend. After 10.4 hours, I can confirm that repetitive tasks are considerably more entertaining when somebody else is suffering alongside you. Before playing Cargo Hunters, I’d seen YouTube reviews calling it fantastic, some even describing it as one of the best games they’d ever played. Fair enough. Everyone likes different things. But I didn’t see that game during my 10.4 hours. Either they found something I didn’t, or their mech came fitted with a rose-tinted windscreen. That doesn’t mean Cargo Hunters is rubbish. It isn’t. There’s a decent foundation here: stomp around in a mech, shoot robots, hoover up enough plastic to open a branch of B&M, replace various body parts and extract before everything you’ve collected disappears. The loop currently becomes: Shoot robots. Collect rubbish. Donate rubbish. Extract. Repeat. During my first couple of runs on Port, I also spent far too long wandering around looking for the exit—only to eventually discover there was a map showing me exactly where it was. That one is on me. Apparently, my greatest enemy wasn’t the robots. It was basic navigation. Co-op definitely improves the experience. It’s a fun game to play with a friend, and I think it will particularly suit more casual players who want an accessible extraction game without the stress, complexity or occasional emotional damage of something like Tarkov. If you’re already heavily invested in extraction shooters and looking for a deep new obsession, however, the shooting, enemies, missions and progression may not currently have enough variety to keep you hooked. But Cargo Hunters is still in Early Access and currently only at update 0.26. This clearly isn’t supposed to be the finished 1.0 game, and I think it will get much better as development continues. There’s a genuinely enjoyable game here—it just needs more time and depth. So I am recommending Cargo Hunters, particularly as a casual co-op game. I just don’t think it’s currently anywhere near as incredible as some people on YouTube have made it sound. I’ve had fun with it, but I’m going to leave it for a while and come back after a few more updates. I’m not extracting permanently. I’m just parking the mech until Early Access moves further forward.
Overall Rating: Not Recommended (Constructive Feedback) The game isn't bad, but it feels heavily like a direct mobile port with minor additions that are practically imperceptible to the average player. I am leaving a negative review specifically so the developer sees this and addresses these issues, so please treat this as constructive criticism aimed at improvement. Key Issues & Feedback: Enemy Spawns: Enemy spawn points are always identical, and worse, they tend to spawn right in front of the player. This dynamic, script-like spawning system was likely designed to save resources on mobile devices, but PC hardware doesn't need these limitations. Having all enemies present on the map from the start would make encounters feel much more organic and rewarding. Aiming & Accuracy: The player's aiming feels clunky and imprecise, especially compared to the enemies, who seem to have built-in aimbots with surgical precision. Quality of Life (Item Tracking): The game desperately needs an item/crafting marker system. Being able to track specific upgrade materials would eliminate the need to manually memorize what resources you still need to collect. This game has a ton of potential, and I would love to get in touch with the developer directly to discuss further improvements and ideas.
