PLEASE DO NOT ABANDON THIS GAME ITS SO GREAT IVE BEEN DREAMIG OF A GAME LIKE THIS FOR YEARS
Very fun! Hearthstone meets Slay the Spire. I enjoy the board tension and some of the random elements. I think the AI could be a bit better (I had a large guard and instead of trading into it they just passed their turn). Some of the relics felt VERY strong, while others felt weak. I also hit a point where my deck was so strong that it became a bit trivial, though that is just something that happens in roguelites when you get lucky. Overall very good game and excited for more characters / improvements
Not worth $15 in it's current state. there's no difference from demo to release its the exact same game. not much customization and just a straight forward roguelike deck builder game. graphics are cool but cards are similar in nature to hearthstones. best way i can sum it up is that it's fun at first and gets boring quite fast.
It's fun! As the other reviews say, it's basically Slay the Spire meets Hearthstone with a fun cartoony arts style; if that sounds appealing to you, I would pick it up. So far it does feels unbalanced in a polarized way - either you get stomped with no way to fight back, or you flatten everything in your path. But it's fun to go back and try new runs and builds to see what you can do next time. With more content I'm sure it'll be even more replayable and addictive. Looking forward to future balance changes and more content!
Definitely a solid start. Flavor is A+, gameplay is solid, nothing revolutionary here. A little content light at the moment (very much feels like early access). Fairly straightforward and not too difficult, especially on default difficulty, good starting point in the genre for younger players where Diceomancer would be a bit too complex. Highly recommend wishlisting and trying the demo, in current state it's not quite worth the price tag, but if it goes on sale or after more content is added it'll be worth picking up.
Game is alright. Not like groundbreaking, not terrible, so very much in the middleground. It has a pretty uplifting music and theme in general, the cards are fun, but the variety in builds and cards in general isn't very wide. You will end up having the same handful of cards every run more often than not. The gameplay itself is pretty fluid though. The menus, interaction, animations and such are pretty refined. That said, I think it's a good grab if you can get it on sale. I think the 15 moneys prize tag is slightly too expensive for what the game has to offer (mind you, this review is after day 1 of Early Access). You should get your "moneys worth" of entertainment out of this game if you're into deckbuilders.
Great game, best card Roguelike and a perfect mix of Hearthstone / Slay the Spire. I hope we will get alot of QoL and Content <3
it's fun it's like hearthstone adventures meets slay the spire but it definitely needs some balancing
I really like the game, but it could use an Ascension-style system like Slay the Spire :) As it stands right now, the normal runs are pretty easy and having optional, more difficult floors at the end doesnt really feel rewarding imo
This game is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ridiculously unbalanced. Thank god this trash heap is free.
