Camper Van: Make it Home

Even though the aesthetics are pleasing and the atmosphere of a game itself is really cozy and relaxing, unfortunately the way you "put things away" is quite annoying. Most items cannot be stacked or even put next to each other. Since the main theme is to unpack things and assemble them, I'd expect that such mechanics wouldn't be a problem but it definitely got pretty annoying fast. The controls are also kinda weird I must say. But, the aesthetics were really nice, and the way you get to customize your camper is adorable, I just think that the whole concept and mechanics could benefit of a bit more work put into it.

Such a fun and relaxing game, no timers and no pressure to put things away in a certain amount of time. Theres not even a "right" place to put the items. How you customise the vans as well is incredibly cute, and adds some replay value in terms of how you can get things to fit right and the aestetics you want to go for!

The game mechanics are really clumsy. My eyes hurt the whole time I was playing and my head started to hurt.

Jogo perfeito, tão bonitinho, ia reclamar só que tem espaço demais pra coisa de menos mas o modo criativo arruma isso. A história também é contada de forma simples mas encantadora, testemunha de que menos é mais. Amei.

Its a beautiful game. Theres so much to explore and the Art-Style is just lovely. 3 Hours of coziness, happines and even a few tears. Played storymode only but I'll definitely come back for the creative mode. Ive had no performance issues at all even when zooming out all the way. All in all: You can feel that it was made with love and great attention to detail.

cute, slow and cozy

Je suis très épuisée depuis plusieurs mois, et ça faisait un moment que je cherchais un jeu simple, qui me procurerait une vraie sensation de repos, d'instant cozy et chill. J'ai vraiment eu l'impression de juste pouvoir oublier tous mes soucis l'espace d'un instant, et voyager avec la protagoniste du jeu. Et même si le paysage n'est pas forcément foufou de beauté (attention, je ne dis pas que le jeu est moche, on est plus sur une ambiance "ohlala c'est trop kiki tout ça" qu'un effet waouh), la liberté de décoration et l'ambiance sont très soignées, suffisamment pour que je puisse juste oublier pendant 4h mes soucis, et VRAIMENT reposer mon cerveau. J'aurais aimé un peu plus d'interactions possibles avec notre petit compagnon, avec (et entre) plus d'objets et meubles, mais ce qui est proposé est déjà très suffisant. Si vous aimez les jeux comme Unpacking, où il faut ranger, organiser et suivre une histoire qui se fait discrète mais qui reste touchante, le tout selon vos termes, Camper Van est une excellente alternative 3D. Et pour les achievements hunters comme moi, très facile à 100%. Merci à Malapata Studio pour ce jeu, ça me conforte dans l'idée que votre prochain jeu, Book Nook, sera top !
