Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare was a bold step forward for the franchise, and it still holds up incredibly well. The futuristic setting, combined with the Exo movement system, completely changed the pace of multiplayer and made every match feel fast, vertical, and skill-based. The campaign is cinematic and intense, with strong performances—especially from Kevin Spacey—that give the story a more serious and immersive tone. The missions are varied, visually impressive, and packed with explosive set pieces. Multiplayer is where the game truly shines. The Exo suits add a fresh layer of strategy, allowing for creative flanks, aggressive pushes, and high-skill plays. It feels smooth, responsive, and rewarding once you master the movement. Zombies mode is also a great addition—dark, challenging, and packed with replay value. Overall, Advanced Warfare took risks, and those risks paid off. If you enjoy fast-paced futuristic shooters with tight gunplay and dynamic movement, this one is definitely worth playing.
EEELLLIIIIITTTEEE!!!!! is what I would say but Kevin spacey introduced me to the game by saying "What you're seeing is advanced unoptimization." Seriously the campaign portion of this game is borderline unplayable. I had to play the game borderless window, lowest settings, lowest resolution, everything off just to be able to get through it at a reasonable framerate. The story itself is actually good just held back by how poorly optimized the campaign is. On the flip side since they separate the download into story and multiplayer/zombies zombies runs fine until you hit the 3rd map where they introduce the star drop which crashed my game at the end of the easter egg because my shadows were on. Like this game is great despite having some issues it's held back drastically by the port it was given. Playing it on console was the better experience unfortunately I cannot recommend buying this game on pc unless you just want to play exo zombies since the multiplayer is completely dead on pc. Also it is impossible to not bring up that at launch there was no such thing as loot boxes then the devs went and added loot boxes to cod for the 1st time which has to drag my overall rating down a bit. 8/10 if the game fully worked in all modes properly and if loot boxes never came but due to the pc port 5/10 at best. Story is great but heavily weighed down by performance, zombies is pretty enjoyable just not for high rounds since the guns and wonder weapons are not good in the slightest. Some cool designs for some of the guns like the cel which is a shotgun that ramps up as its fired, the line gun from carrier, the trident from descent all very cool in design but only the trident truly can clear out zombies and thats if you start bouncing the shots through corridors. Zombies can be really fun and I get they had to nerf the exos but they could have implemented some better jet boosting zombies than the 1s in the game or more of the floor is lava wirh the acid on the ground so it keeps players on their toes and using the exo suit in more interesting ways instead of the only time you can actually die is when your guns stop doing damage or you are emp'd. The more you play the less emp zombies actually affect the outcome of a match however the weapons all fall off pretty hard which is the main downside of the mode. At the end of the day I'd say only if youre into zombies should you buy this game on pc otherwise id say save your money and buy the console version unless you are prepared to heavily tweak the game and even then the campaign will more than likely not run that well like it did in my case. Advanced warfare is a genuinely fun and creative entry in the call of duty franchise that is heavily weighed down by a poor pc port.
fun, legendary campaign
You get groomed by Kevin Spacey and it surprisingly turns out badly
uno de los mejores COD que e jugado
科技感很强 老cod里面算我比较喜欢的了 可惜结局太牵强了 最开始接触多人的时候还是中学时期的免费周 时间过得真快 小锤多久没有高级战争题材了
Playing this in 2026 isn’t nearly as bad as I thought it would be. But for the first time playing this game, it doesn’t hold up well. And I played a lot of call of duty. Even with a 5060ti the game stutters, hits as low as 30+ fps, and generally looks really choppy. While it does have good graphics and gameplay for an old game, I just couldn’t get past this. And while doing my clean up to finish the achievements it crashed 4/5 times. Oh and apparently the multiplayer’s unsafe to play so… there’s that.
The game is pretty good, runs well, I don't understand the hate on this game maybe it was the publicity and people followed the hype train.
