Call of Cthulhu®

Игра крутая, сетинг старого, заполненного болью и страданиями людей городишки передали отлично. Но из-за графики играется не так страшно. НО, сюжет подан правильно и копаться в них как настоящий детектив я люблю))

Unfortunately can’t recommend the game because it crashed every time I start it. I’ve looked up every potential fix I could find, but sadly none of them worked. I was really looking forward to playing this one

The game is based on Lovecraft's stories, and I found it worthy of the author's fame. The story is very engaging with 3 multiple endings based on your choices throughout the game, it has very few jump scares and you will not play only as Pierce, but also as other characters The only flaw: although I would have preferred a better look at Cthulhu, he appears for a fraction of a second, not enough to admire the developers' work. But I highly recommend it.

Прикольная, но линейная, еще и с шансом срабатывания скиллов, в общем, если только по скидке/ты любитель Лавкрафта/тебя не смущают кривые чекпоинты/у тебя много свободного времени

Perfect Night for Cosmic Horror: I picked up the game today for just 3 bucks and played it all night long and wow I am genuinely impressed. Yeah it is a bit rough around the edges in some areas but overall it is a really solid cosmic horror game. It is not your typical jump scare fest. Instead it is perfect for fans of cosmic entities and existential dread. It is not the game we deserve but it is definitely the game we need right now. The atmosphere and story are both very well done and I had a great experience with it. What really carries the game is Anthony Howells performance. His voice is an absolute perfect fit for the protagonist. The depiction of slowly losing your mind is also beautifully handled. Even with its rough spots this one ranks pretty high for me. As a big cosmic horror fan I would give it a 7/10 possibly even an 7,5/10. If you do not like slow atmospheric cosmic horror this might not be for you. But if you are looking for a solid story and a good atmosphere at a cheap price definitely pick it up.

Проходной среднячок. Вроде даже есть намёк на вариативность прохождения, но я так и не дошла до концовки - моя игра не сохранилась, а перепроходить главы заново совсем не хотелось. И это, пожалуй, главный показатель интересности игры. Она неплохая, я могу ее рекомендовать, если вам нравится тема Ктулху и вы любите такие жанры. Ну и если вам просто нечем заняться, но хочется скоротать пару вечеров. 4/10, в молоко 🎯
