Reviews
This game was very MID, the gameplay was just a walking sim with a few extra steps and puzzles that had me looking up walkthroughs in order to continue. The story had some (emphasis on SOME) good themes that could have been given a better buildup and execution. overall: I still finished the game to see the end (was a bit disappointed in that too) and even though it has features which make it replayable to have different outcomes; I'm not replaying it.
Decent Lovecraftian story. Does go into proper lovecraft themes and isn't just tentacles spooky which I like. Performance is okay but you can notice brief little boxes of white for like a milisecond as environments load in when rounding some corners, doorways, etc. Overall the environments do look nice though and some of the cutscenes have impressive facial animations. Gameplay surprisingly changes a lot, but overall isn't anything special you don't have to do any serious detective work or puzzle solving, solutions are handed to you. Light RPG mechanics but not enough to offer true replayability to me. Decent characters. A little short for price, about 8 hours.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

theres only the main story thats remotely interesting with it, the rest of it is bad writing. Visual game progression issues; with just poor writing. its like they took a TTRPG pre-made module and covers a good story, but playing it is just like a lazy and poor GM giving a lack luster experience
ESPERE NO DISPARE, SOY IMBECIL!!! a ver, demustrelo CALL OF CTHULHU NO ES CINE ABSOLUTO diablos si que eres imbecil hermano, no disparen chicos
I'm a huge lovecraft fan and enjoy most of the games that try to capture the horror he created. The original Call of Cthulhu Dark Corners of the Earth was a masterpiece to me. That beeing said : this game is nothing like the original. The focus here is more on detective work and stealth than the actual lore or mythos. There were only 2 short sections of the game that kept me on my toes , otherwise it completely fails to capture the dread and hopelessness of that universe. The Sinking City and the original did a way better job. Additionaly the animations of the characters are wonky and sometimes completely out of place and go way longer than the dialogue which makes the game look silly at times and destroys the atmosphere. The game can be easily played through in about 8 hours so it's VERY short. Sorry but can't recommend this in any way.
