Burnout Paradise is a culmination of everything the series got right. If you loved Burnout: Takedown and Burnout: Revenge then this is a must play. Near the end game, things get really really fast and you start to get more of that "one more race" feeling.
I don't see almost any changes from the vanilla game to this remastered edition really.... atleast we got the steam achivements now. And the game didn't crash for me fyi.
Хочу почати з того, що в цю гру я грав ще в дитинстві. Це були реально кайфові часи - вихідні, я просто вмикаю гру і катаюся по місту. Пам’ятаю, як дідусь ходив по квартирі, дивився, як я граю, щось коментував. Тому для мене Burnout Paradise - це не просто гонка, а частина дитинства. Свого часу я грав у піратку, але вже пізніше купив ліцензію, а згодом і Remastered-версію. Взяв по знижці - і, якщо чесно, великої різниці з оригіналом тут нема. Трохи підтягнули графіку, додали острів і більше машин — по суті, це все. Графіка зараз вже відчувається застарілою, особливо якщо грати в 2K. Іноді картинка виглядає трохи мильною або піксельною, але це частково можна підправити апскейлінгом. В цілому - норм, але не вау. З плюсів - тут працює онлайн і прогрес не злітає. Я навіть перевстановлював Windows - все залишилось. Це приємно, бо в старій версії з цим були проблеми. Хоча людей зараз грає мало, іноді все ж можна когось зустріти. Що мені реально подобається - це відчуття швидкості. Якщо порівнювати з Forza чи The Crew, тут драйву більше. Не знаю, як вони це зробили, але іноді просто катаєшся під музику - і ловиш той самий вайб, аж мурашки по шкірі. Тепер про мінуси. У гри є дивний баг - вона може вилітати, якщо не підключена вебкамера. Серйозно. Я довго не міг зрозуміти, в чому проблема, поки випадково не підключив вебку - і все запрацювало. Це, звичайно, звучить абсурдно, але гру, схоже, давно не оновлювали. В цілому, для мене ця гра - це більше про ностальгію. Фанатам - однозначно рекомендую. Якщо ж ви просто шукаєте сучасну гонку, то не факт, що зайде. Але якщо хочеться просто сісти, включити музику і кайфанути від поїздки - Burnout Paradise досі може дати ці емоції.
