Best version of the burnout paradise game, still a shame the dlc never made it over officially
Relic of the past, great at it's time, aged horribly. Horrible UI design, terrible physics, bad handling, ♥♥♥♥♥♥ piss filter, ugly graphics, unskippable videos that adds nothing to the experience, there is nothing here worth spending your money nowadays. You can find several PS1 racing games that aged better than this. Really, it's mindblowing how little this "racing" game allows you to race. When you think the tutorials are over, THERE IS MORE. Every ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ 5 minutes the game SLAPS the controler out of your hand so the stupid Gen X DJ dudebro can yell at you YOOO BROOO THIS IS TOTALLY RAD. BROO LOOK AT THAT BILBOARD! BROOO CHECK OUT THIS CAR YOU CRASHED YOU MURDERED AN ENTIRE FAMILY. BROOOO LET ME SEE YOUR D*CK BROOOOOO *Turns on your webcam without your consent* (seriously who thought this would be a good idea? Who did they had at the design board of this game? George W Bush?) And don't even let me get started on the music. YOU CANT TURN OFF THE MENU MUSIC? WHY??? Well, you want to know why? Because it did cost them SO MUCH MONEY to license Paradise City that they REALLY want to make sure you listen to it. Every time you start the game it's like the CEO of EA Games looks at you dead in the eye and says "Son, you know how much it costs to license a Guns N' Roses song? Well, we didn't had enough money for it back then. So I had to let Axl Rose f*ck my wife. And let me tell you, that man smoked so much crack cocaine in his life that it got into his semen. So now my wife is addicted to cocaine, and I did this sacrifice, just so you could listen to this song every time you start the game. SO YOU WILL LISTEN TO IT, AND YOU WILL ENJOY IT, DO YOU UNDERSTAND?" then the game cuts to the stupid DJ cherishing you for unlocking a new bike (despite the fact that the bikes in this game sucks even more than the cars and nobody ever plays with them) and forces you to look at it and all it's 50 polygons.
I love Burnout so much, I even put up with all EA dumb decisions. I hate them nonetheless, but I love Burnout more than I hate EA.
Ultimate box got delisted but unlike the utterly horrible remaster, this works. I'm aware that there isn't any online support anymore but I'm only here for smashes, crashes and the high speed because in the words of Jacksepticeye "SPEED IS KEY!" Ahh the nostalgia.
Ништяк! Даже в 2026!
with this patato laptop i managed to play at 60 fps med very nice game thought i would like some npc's it would be fire
Crashes to desktop, always. This is a great game on console but whomever made this port never tested it on PC. I've now tried it on 3 PCs and it always crashes to desktop. I've tried so many times I have an hour or more of playtime showing and ALL of that is the first few minutes of thegame.
