Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 13 → 1/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Mobile version: 9/10 ; PC version: 7.5/10
Am I Fighting the Enemy, or Fighting Your UI?
Sometimes, the biggest enemy in Iron Marines isn't the aliens. It's the control system. Once your units start piling up and the screen fills with effects, selecting the squad you actually want becomes unnecessarily frustrating. Move everyone at once, and your formation turns into a complete mess—frontliners and fragile ranged units all thrown into the same blender. Want to micro? Controlling every squad individually quickly becomes tedious. Want to manage things on a larger scale? Group selection isn't smart enough, and can be canceled by all kinds of unrelated interactions. The game wants to be an RTS, but doesn't give you a sufficiently refined RTS control toolkit. Macro control isn't smart enough, while micro control isn't precise enough. It ends up stuck in an awkward middle ground: When I want to play carefully, the game doesn't give me good enough tools. When I want to simplify things, it doesn't give me smart enough automation . This becomes especially frustrating on higher difficulties. Sometimes the real challenge isn't the enemy—it’s figuring out whether I actually selected the right unit, why some units decided not to move, or when exactly my group selection disappeared again. Some of the later side missions suffer from a similar problem. The game certainly has ideas—sometimes genuinely good ones—but too often those ideas are introduced and then never explored any further. The deeper potential of the system remains largely untouched, and repetition starts to set in. And yet, I still genuinely like the core idea behind Iron Marines . Combining Ironhide's strengths—heroes, abilities, and handcrafted mission design—with a lightweight RTS framework was a genuinely exciting direction. So replaying it now doesn't feel like my nostalgia was wrong. It feels more like I finally realized that what I loved back then was, to a large extent, the future potential the game seemed to promise . Unfortunately, the final product never fully got there. I would've given the mobile version a 9/10 back in the day. Revisiting the PC version now: 7.5/10 . A game with great potential—but not quite the level of execution that potential deserved .
Iron Marines - Tower Defense trifft auf StarCraft-Light 🚀👽⚔️🌌

🔰 Einstieg
📝 In Aller Kürze

Sci-Fi-Tower-Defense mit RTS-Elementen 🚀
Aktive Truppensteuerung statt passivem Zuschauen ⚔️
Viele kreative Alien-Gegner 👽
Anspruchsvoll, aber fair 🎯
Abwechslungsreiche Planeten und Missionen 🌌
Anspruchsvolle 100 % 🏆
Kaum Grind 🔍

This is an incredible game. I also like how this game is located in the same galaxy as ironhide studio's Kingdom Rush and it's other versions. It is a great high tech game, where your basically a commander, commanding a faction, defending bases, waging war on your enemies, with a gripping storyline. I stopped playing a bit ago as I was struggling to beat this one mission on borealis, but I am going to give it another go. If you asked me to rate it /10 I would give it a 7/10. If your looking for a good, rts set in a decently high tech game, with a good storyline, I recommend buying this game. And if anyone is wondering, this is not a review where the company payed me. I have seen many people say I am paid to give a good review, when I did not get paid, so just to cut that off.
Another quite balanced gameplay with really cool missions. The moving units seems a bit weird but you get used to it.
What a seriously sh*t final boss fight to ruin what was otherwise an okay game. I did not buy a platforming or bullet hell game!
Nem rossz
Excellent game, underrated in some ways. The single issue is that the port is not very good, imo. Аiming and targeting squads is not always accurate. I don't remember struggling with this problem on mobile.
