About
🌍 Welcome to Build & Survive – a vast, dynamic sandbox survival game where every action matters.

In the heart of an uncharted land, you are dropped with nothing but your will to survive. No tutorials, no handholding — only raw nature, relentless enemies, and your ability to adapt. Build & Survive offers a deep and rewarding sandbox experience where your choices shape your destiny. Whether you're chopping trees, crafting tools, defending your base, or fishing at sunrise, survival is always one step away from failure.
Start with the basics — survive with your hands.
At first, the only thing between you and death is a tree. With primitive tools, begin your journey by chopping wood. This simple act lays the foundation for your shelter, tools, and future advancements. Every tree you cut not only gives you materials but changes the environment — a world that lives, grows, and reacts to your actions. Forests will thin out, paths will open, and nature will fight back.
Crafting is survival.
Gather stone, wood, fiber, and other raw resources to craft your first set of gear. From crude axes to reinforced walls, the crafting system in Build & Survive is intuitive yet deep, allowing for dozens of custom recipes and combinations. Build campfires for warmth, storage boxes to hoard supplies, and workbenches to unlock more advanced blueprints. As you progress, you'll unlock technology trees that let you build automated systems, defensive traps, and tools for survival in increasingly harsh conditions.
But nature is not your only enemy.
As day turns to night, waves of increasingly aggressive enemies rise from the shadows. They don’t wait for you to be ready. They destroy what you build. Some strike fast and disappear, others swarm in groups, testing your defenses. Each wave is procedurally generated, adapting to your tactics and base layout. You must evolve, reinforce, and constantly prepare for what’s coming. Strategic defense building is not optional — it’s survival.
Build your home, your fortress, your empire.
Don’t just survive — thrive. Shape the land around you as you expand your base, reinforce it with walls, gates, towers, and automated turrets. Claim land, redirect rivers, flatten mountains, and raise massive structures that stand as a symbol of your progress. Every plank placed and every stone laid matters. You can build underground bunkers, cliffside shelters, or open field strongholds. The choice is yours — the results are permanent.
Slow down. Breathe. Survive with patience.
Sometimes survival isn’t about the next wave — it’s about sustainability. Head to rivers, lakes, or coastal waters and cast your line. Fishing is more than a side activity; it's a vital source of food, health regeneration, and even rare items hidden in the depths. Build fishing huts, smoke your catches for long-term storage, and discover unique fish species across different biomes. In a world full of chaos, fishing offers a rare moment of peace — and a valuable path to survival.
🧭 Explore, expand, and endure.
Beyond your base lies a massive procedurally generated world filled with biomes, secrets, and dangers. Explore desert ruins, snowy peaks, dark caves, and ancient structures. Each environment brings unique resources and challenges. Will you dare to leave the safety of your camp?
🧠 Customize your playstyle.
Want to be a lone wolf with traps and long-range weapons? Or a builder focused on crafting, trading, and farming? The game supports multiple playstyles with dynamic progression systems. Tailor your journey — the game won't stop you.
🧑🤝🧑 Multiplayer coming soon.
The game is being prepared for co-op play — survive with friends, split responsibilities, and defend your camp together. Future updates will include shared bases, trading mechanics, PvP elements, and community events.

Build & Survive is a survival crafting game developed and published by Esti Soft that centers itself around one of the most satisfying gameplay loops in the survival genre: starting with almost nothing and slowly transforming a dangerous wilderness into a secure and self-sustaining home. The game combines resource gathering, crafting, exploration, combat, and base defense into a straightforward but engaging experience that focuses heavily on progression and player creativity. While it does not attempt to radically reinvent the genre, it succeeds by delivering a familiar survival formula in a way that remains accessible, rewarding, and consistently enjoyable for players who appreciate building and long-term progression systems. The opening hours immediately establish the game’s core survival structure. Players begin vulnerable and poorly equipped, forced to search the environment for basic resources needed to craft tools, gather food, and construct primitive shelter. This early phase captures the tension that makes survival games so addictive because every decision feels important. Simple tasks such as collecting wood or locating stone become meaningful when survival depends on efficient preparation before nightfall or enemy encounters. The gradual transition from weakness to stability is handled well, and the game consistently rewards effort by making every crafted item or upgraded structure feel genuinely useful. Building mechanics are easily one of the strongest parts of the experience. The construction system allows players to create defensive walls, shelters, storage systems, crafting stations, and larger fortified compounds as they gather more advanced materials. While the building tools are not as deep or technically advanced as those found in larger sandbox survival games, they remain intuitive and satisfying to use. There is a strong sense of progression attached to base construction because players can physically watch their fragile beginnings evolve into organized survival outposts capable of resisting enemy attacks. The game does an excellent job of making construction feel practical rather than purely decorative. Every wall, crafting station, and defensive structure serves a direct purpose in helping players survive longer and explore more dangerous areas safely. Exploration also plays a major role in maintaining engagement throughout the experience. The world encourages players to leave the safety of their settlements in search of rare resources, crafting materials, and new opportunities for expansion. Venturing into unfamiliar territory creates a consistent sense of tension because danger is always present, especially when resources are low or equipment is limited. The survival mechanics succeed because they constantly push players to take risks in order to improve their situation. There is a satisfying balance between security and danger where remaining inside the base feels safe but limits progression, while exploring new environments opens opportunities alongside greater threats. Combat mechanics remain relatively simple, but they effectively reinforce the survival atmosphere. Hostile enemies attack frequently enough to keep players alert, especially during nighttime encounters or while exploring distant regions. Weapons and defensive options gradually improve as progression continues, giving players a stronger sense of empowerment over time. Combat focuses more on preparation and positioning than advanced action mechanics, which fits naturally within the game’s survival structure. Players who neglect their defenses or venture out without proper supplies are quickly punished, making resource management and planning just as important as direct fighting ability. Defending a well-built base during enemy assaults becomes especially satisfying because it creates visible proof that all previous construction and preparation efforts were worthwhile. One of the game’s more enjoyable qualities is its pacing. Progression unfolds at a steady rate without feeling overwhelmingly complex or painfully slow. New crafting recipes, upgraded tools, and stronger defenses are introduced gradually enough to keep players motivated without flooding them with unnecessary systems early on. This balance makes Build & Survive relatively approachable for newcomers to the survival genre while still offering enough depth to remain entertaining for experienced players. The satisfaction of unlocking stronger equipment and expanding into more dangerous areas creates a constant sense of forward momentum that keeps the gameplay loop engaging over long sessions. Visually, the game adopts a fairly modest art style that prioritizes readability and functionality over realism. Environments are clear and easy to navigate, resources are generally identifiable at a glance, and the interface remains simple enough to avoid clutter during crafting and combat. While the graphics are not technically impressive, the world still manages to create an immersive atmosphere through lighting and environmental design. Nighttime sections in particular are effective at increasing tension because visibility becomes limited and enemy encounters feel significantly more threatening. The visual simplicity ultimately works in the game’s favor because it allows the survival mechanics and building systems to remain the center of attention. The audio design complements the experience reasonably well. Ambient environmental sounds help create a feeling of isolation and vulnerability during exploration, while combat effects and construction noises provide satisfying feedback during gameplay. The soundtrack remains fairly subtle for most of the experience, allowing tension to build naturally through gameplay rather than relying on dramatic music constantly. Although the audio is not especially memorable, it supports the atmosphere effectively enough to maintain immersion during extended play sessions. However, Build & Survive also struggles with several issues that prevent it from fully standing out within the increasingly crowded survival genre. The most obvious limitation is the lack of originality. Many of its systems feel heavily inspired by larger and more established survival games, including resource gathering, crafting progression, and defensive base-building mechanics. While the game executes these ideas competently, it rarely introduces mechanics or concepts that feel entirely unique. Experienced survival players will likely recognize familiar systems almost immediately, making the experience feel more like a solid combination of genre staples rather than a fresh reinvention. Content variety can also become repetitive after extended playtime. Once players establish strong defenses and unlock higher-tier crafting systems, the gameplay loop begins to lose some of its early tension and unpredictability. Enemy variety remains somewhat limited, and environmental exploration eventually becomes more about gathering resources efficiently than discovering genuinely surprising locations or mechanics. The progression system remains satisfying overall, but the game lacks the larger-scale narrative events or dramatic gameplay shifts needed to maintain excitement indefinitely. Build & Survive is a solid and entertaining indie survival game that delivers satisfying crafting, exploration, and defensive building mechanics within a straightforward and accessible framework. Although it lacks major innovation and occasionally suffers from repetitive content and technical roughness, the game still succeeds at creating an addictive survival loop built around steady progression and rewarding construction systems. Fans of survival sandboxes who enjoy gathering resources, building fortified bases, and slowly mastering hostile environments will likely find plenty to appreciate in its focused and immersive gameplay structure. A good game conceptually, However it has many flaws, from shop buttons not working, to no save button to fields not popping up I.E. no brick making machine materialized. Even after spending 3K on swimming upgrades you still bloody drown when swimming just a little bit. no storage site ever materialized. Did they even test this game seems like they really did not give a ♥♥♥♥ to code it and test it properly.
