Buffet Knight - Decadent Full Course

I have absolutely no idea why this game fell under the radar that much because it's a really cool combination of Zelda and Kirby. If you loved this, make sure to check out Super Panda Adventures. That's another (similar) game I cannot recommend often enough.

What an amazing game! I know everyone probably is saying it in their own reviews, but what a perfect indie and retro mix of old school Kirby and top-down Zelda games! The art and characters are lovely, the humor is spot on and the music tracks are BOP AFTER BOP (from the mighty talented CallMeDJ)! Huge props to the creator, Nowis337, for their hard work and dedication with their consistent QoL updates and soft patches after the game's release about two weeks ago! Nowis337 has been a such a friendly creator to speak with and has dedicated the time to make this Grape Kirby adventure one to remember. Games like these help strengthen my love for indie games and I plan on recommending this game to as many of my IRL and online friends as possible. I can only see big and fun things in the future for the team behind this game and I look forward at what is to come! Also, the achievements are fun as hell and rewarding considering how well thought out some of the puzzles you encounter will turn out to be! Gotta bring that big boss brain and a sense of adventure to be very best inhaler the Gourmet Kingdom has ever seen. Highly Recommend!

Amazing game! i love the original buffet knight and this just adds more to an already great game with it's new powers and cool bosses. even tho it might be a little grindy for 100%, i still give this game a 9.2/10

I played this game live and my head literally exploded on stream that this was made with RPG Maker. This is so smooth, visually impressive, full of depth and most importantly, FUN! Buffet Knight has been a pleasant surprise! While I enjoy Zelda-likes & JRPGs, there are just so many of them. But Buffet Knight really stands out. It's like Zelda or Secret of Mana except everything is food and you have Kirby-like suck & spit attacks (plus special abilities!). Well made with good puzzles, battles, bosses & secrets. It's well-written, full of character, and makes great use of its Kirby-esque mechanics. Loving it. Fun for all ages. I'm usually not into metroidvanias. This one won me over with the intro video. It's a delightfully cute and simple concept. You are Kirby. Go find the stuff so you can cross the bridge and beat up the guy who took all the food. Each area you go through gives you a different power. ALL of the powers have some overworld use to a degree, there's none that's useless outside of the area you got it in. The music is great. It FEELS great. It's not super tough, but it's not meant to be. It's short and sweet, but you get that nice feeling of progression with each of the big stuff things you find along the way. It's a blast, get it.
