Genre
Ein RPG Adventure
Story
"Old Man Quiver" erzählt seinen Enkel Kindern eine Geschichte wie "Er" Ihre Großmutter kennen gelernt hat
Gamepaly
+ Sehr Humorvoll + Gute Humorvolle Story + Gute Musik + Witzige Dialoge + Sehr Viele Andeutungen an Filme, Serien, Spiele & sonstiger Popkultur + XBox 360 Controller Support - Leider Keine Achievements
Fazit
Pro:

ganz ordentliche Kämpfe
schwarzer Humor
guter Spielfluss
Kontra

Klare Kaufempfehlung. The moment the words "Stupid, McStupid Pants" were uttered at the start of this ...story, I knew I was going to at least enjoy the dialogue. It really isn't much of an RPG. Leveling up and resource management be damned-This is more like a quirky visual novel that looks like a JRPG. There are battles which are really more like long boss fights, but they are laughably easy. Art style is typical RPG Maker. I do like the symphonic music pack choices particularly the riffs in the khawk zombie battle. The story and characters are charming, but very juvenile bordering on dark comedy. The narrative is kind've like The Princess Bride if it was written by stoners. And the ending was definitely not expected. It's a short game/read, finished in some 2 hours, but with the way it is paced non-grindy, it's a welcome length. I do think it's worth the price of admission-HOWEVER may I suggest that you consider consuming your favorite recreational beverage (or whatever), as I think it would indeed level-up the experience.
This game knows exactly what it’s doing. It’s absurd, unapologetic, and surprisingly self-aware at that. Gameplay exists mainly to support the joke, so if you're looking for a polished game you might get disappointed, but tbh.. You don’t really play this expecting any level of depth - you play it to have some lighthearted fun. In that regard, this is a little masterpiece.
After playing 'Quiver ♥♥♥♥♥ Terrible Tale for Terrible Parents to Tell Their Equally Terrible Children' I ended up buying this game and the bundle and this was the first I played. I ultimately enjoyed this game and every 'map' had something unique that either gave me a laugh or referenced something I could relate to. Song references exist in this game and they truly make this game amazing to play through and I found myself talking to everyone just to see if they made some reference. 10/10
Fantastic, Played through the whole thing in 2 and a half hours and i loved every second of it, super funny
This is my second playthrough of Quiver ♥♥♥♥, and i'm not even upset I bought it on a second account. The enemies and NPCs are hilarious and will have you dying of laughter and screaming the whole time. This is such a good game for streamers, I couldn't see any mature rated stream NOT having a ball with Richard Longshlong and his adventures. I don't want to ruin the game, but I want to give the best review possible. The bosses have A LOT of HP for a game of this style, but once you upgrade your weapon you're literally blazing through them (don't worry they put up a fight) with plenty of commentary that would make even a veteran DM blush. Using a sawed off shotgun to fight ninjas you shouldn't beat up and legendary monsters trying to steal your money, along with plenty of spells and special abilities to boot.. makes this easily the BEST PURCHASE OF 2019. Come on grandpa, you should not be a ♥♥♥♥ and try this game. Unless you got a little ♥♥♥♥.
Very funny, Very family fredn, quite kind, much epic, 112/10 wod weccmd.
