A lo-fidelity First Person Snatcher inspired by the immersive sims of yesteryear. Play as Fennel, a knife-wielding swamp devil with an eye for gold and a penchant for violence. Use your tail to toy with your prey: grab and fling objects, climb impossible heights, and knock your enemies off balance.

Strong reccomend if you are into "what am I supposed to do?", "Where am I?" and "did I pass this corridor already?" games. Really enjoyed figuring stuff out!
Мені не сподобалося рішення щодо респавну ворогів та лута після завантаження сейвів.
Act 2 is a good reminder that all solo devs need a good, trusted friend who can tell them "this idea is bad so don't do it." Apparently the dev intended this act to be a translation puzzle thing. That's not a bad idea in and of itself, but doing it in a game as visually messy and low-poly as this was. Act 1 has got an interesting atmosphere and a bunch of fun in it. Plenty of stuff that's hard to put into words but kept me playing despite aspects of the game being clunky. However, it's hobbled by enemies and items respawning after dying. I think this is also intentional instead of a glitch but I've got zero clue what the dev was thinking there. All in all it's less a diamond in the rough and more a diamond that didn't get cut quite right. Outstanding work if this was a solo dev's first project, less so if not. From the sounds of things the dev has improved and the sequel takes the setting and does a better job making the gameplay enjoyable.
Look, play the sequel Brush Burial: Gutter World first. This game is good, but is does have its issues. If you like Gutter World and you want more of the lore of the world, come back here and give it a go. You will likely enjoy it. I sure did. But if you get this game as a standalone, with no prior investment, it might turn you off the series; and that would suck. These games are some of the most fun I have had in a stealth game ever. The Dev really has polished and perfected their formula in the other titles, but this one shouldn't be forgotten.
Yeah Act 2 sucks.
2nd act play the sequel instead.
I would like to recomend the game, but i simply cant, it has just such a weird control scheme and feels unpolished, had to give the game back because it felt unplayable sadly. The second part on the other hand i can recomend. Play Gutter World its much better.
A terribly interesting indie game that is weird, singular, surreal, unique, avant garde, and dripping with atmosphere, style, and gorgeous crunchy, grimy aesthetic. Some parts are rough around the edges but I loved it. Could've done without the boss battle at the end though, definitely feels weird in stealth game where engaging combat is basically a fail condition. Highly recommend for the aficionados of out-there, avant garde indie games.
looks very cool, not fun to play though and the audio is incredibly grating
Pretty good! I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys a game that doesn't hold your hand. It's up to you in a slightly imsimmy type of game. The game is split into 3 chapters and they each do something a little different. First one is certainly the most "imsim" of the package, you are exploring an area, picking up keys and collecting tools, and weapons that will aid you. This is probably my favorite area of the game as it just lets you explore and experiment with the game. Possible downside, if you die, you keep your equipment, but all enemies respawn. Second is a collection of mini-games. All of them have the same objective which is "hit 3 stones" but each one does something different with it. Which is very fun! However, this area is brought down by repeating levels even if you do not want to. So you will often be forced to repeat a longer minigame in order to get to the other levels. This can also just be the point that most people get lost. Be sure to talk to the NPC's and REALLY PAY ATTENTION to the environment. I would argue even take pictures and write down what things mean and do. Lastly 3 chapter is the shortest, but I won't say what happens here. ;) Overall, really enjoyed this, it's a bit different and quite the unique game. I can't wait to see more out of this developer!
